i finally did receive the meds from bi wise late afternoon for the 30 dollars. unfortunatly i received 100 instead of 120 like im suppose to. it was sent in a small bottle like they use for a 90 count script. the bottle was filled to the top and you could not fit 120 in there if you tried. of course i tried calling them but busy signals and answering machines was all i got. i e mailed them with the problem and will let everyone know how and if they correct it. if it was 2 or 3 short i would let it slide but exactly 20 short is not acceptable. i will let kathy know at yod as im sure she can intervene if necessary. yod and woddys has been great in the past so i expect they will help me out.

label02,
I am so sorry for you're problem. I have never heard of a script being written for 100 pills. I mean the shortage is bad enough. I've read on one of the posts someone was shorted 30 pills. But a pharmasist worth his salt should realize that 100 does not go into 30. Not unless you're dose is 3.33 a day. That is some screwup. Email Kathy right away. I wish I still had her number, she called last Sunday. Also call and email the pharmacy right away. I beleive you got that info with you're meds. This is totally bizarre. I'd be curious what they charged you. also did you have other meds with the order. Maybe the morons transposed the numbers. Who knows. But get on them like a hound dog. Keep me informed. Here I was saying what a great place it is and now I feel like a fool. They did short me one pill. But I can't make a stink about that. I would just keep on them until I got everything that was coming to me. My best wishes with you.
Best Regards,

Shorting you 20 pills is obscene. I think the meds come in bottles of 100 - so I'm guessing they forgot to add the extra 20 from another bottle...
I find pill shorting by pharmacies to be particularly upsetting and personally consider a shortage of 50, 20, 10, 2 or 1 to be the same in bothering me.
I make it a point to count each and every script I receive and do not tolerate shortages of any amount. If I am every shorted by a pharmacy, I usually post about the experience somewhere on here so they get some negative press they deserve.
Lebel,
Please let us know how bi-wise and/or YOD handle and resolve your med shortage in this public forum as this will likely go into next week. I consider prompt resolution of problems to be as important as the problem itself.
Thanks for letting us know about your shortage. Best of luck!

Well I'm glad you did at least recieve, I know the weekend will be a lot better because you did get your script(at least some of it)
Was the number of pills listed on the bottle 100 or 120. If it was 100 it shouldn't be hard to clear up, it will just be a typo when they tranferred. I know some pharmacies use those automatic counters, if Bi-Wise does it could have ran out and they didn't realize it. I sure hopw everything works out for you.

the bottle says 120 but like i said its the small bottle that usually holds 90. the pills were jammed to the top. anyone who receives 120 knows the different size bottle used.no word yet from biwise or yod. i will keep you informed. i know they were extremly busy with transfers as woddys faxed the transfer over a few times with bi wise saying they never received it.i understand mistakes can happen but this was the first time ive ever used biwise. i know yod and kathy have always been fair but im sure she doesnt need this right now with all the problems with woodys and all. like hoop said i have been short 2 in the past and even received 3 over once but 20 is just an error. have a good weekend all

I have to wonder if there isn't an absent minded clerk or two at Woodys or a self-vested interest in "forgetting" to fax transfers in a timely fashion. I have ran into the same problem with faxes never being rec'd at TDI from Woodys.
Another post said that Woodys should hire additional help in getting their transfers completed immediately - I whole heartly agree. They should NOT JUST TRANSFER THEM WHEN THEY HAVE A BIG PILE as I was told by the clerk today. Simply Inexcusable in my opinion! If they can't handle the business, then transfer everything and get out of the industry. They are messing with peoples lives here!

hi just a short note to let anyone who cares about the status of my shortage with bi wise. i sent kathy a long e mail explaining the whole situation on friday. i left my name, address, phone number and e mail address for a reply. i get an e mail from a "libby" this afternoon (sunday) simply stating "who is this"
needless to say she did not even read my e mail as she would have not only known who i was but my address and phone number. not too encouraging so far. i did e mail back asking to please forward to kathy as that is who the e mail was sent to directly/ i will keep you all informed

lebel,
This seems to be happening right now, probably as OP's start RXing the new count. It happened to me, and JUST like you I could tell from the bottle, because I pulled one script out as I was finishing the other and it prompted me to count. What sucks is how you FEEL when you have to explain, like you're going to be questioned as being dishonest. Luckily, I really didn't have to do anything more than just tell them about the error, it was taken care of immediately. I hope you get this resolved as well.

[barry]That's more than you can say about another certain individual from a formerly respected, now DEFUNCT OP who treated you as if you were dishonest by default.[/barry]
By the way, I am anxious to see why I was charged $123 by Bi-wise for generic #90 10/325s and two day shipping.

label02,
So sorry to hear of this problem. A lot of times the pharm will ask you to send the empty bottle in to verify the qty. They have bottle sizes for each quantity. I hope in you're case they do the right thing and follow through with this. Or that they take you're word for it and send the missing meds. Usually YOD has excellent CS, I don't know why Libby treated you that way. I got so frustrated on there transfer thing, that even though thier website said to not contact them regarding refills, I emailed them a glowing report on how great they were till this refill debacle and fololowed everyones suggestion to the tee and yet nothing. I told her how dissapointed I was. I also metioned that I am in the service business, I have owned my own company 10 years now and have not done a lick of advertising. That all my new customer cane from refferrals. That good CS brings word of mouth and all College courses teach it as part of marketing. Well I'm living proof. Sorry to get off the subject. But anyway the email must have struck a chord. A week went by and still all my attemps yeilded zip. Lo and behold, Super Bowl Sunday, right aroud kickoff, I get a call from Kathy. Well we spend some time small talking and than says she'll fax my info to Bi=Wise first thing Monday Morn. I followed up monday morn wiyh Bi-Wise gave them all pertinent inf and had meds tues.
I know this is long winded, I have seen a change at YOD, but I believe you'res will be rectified. Get Kathy. Call Bi-Wise. Recommend sending the bottle back so they can see for themselves that 120 would never fit. It will be solved.
But I personal;ly have doubts if I will return to YOD for my second consult. Look if Woody's is being looked at don't you think they look at the source (YOD). So who knows. I'm not losing anymore fingernails every month for the next 60 days. This is just my opinion. And I once believed they were the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Best wishes to you on recovering whats you'res.
Best Regards, Hoop

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, however a member of the VIP board said that Bi-Wise wouldn't accept any more transfers due to the overload.

hello, just a short note to let anyone who know cares that biwise made good on the shortage. i was impressed with their cs as they shipped the 20 short to me today. i honestly did not expect to receive them especially after talking to kathy about the situation as she stated there was not much she could do with shipping and med shortage unfortunatly. bi wise obviously knew there was an error in the size of the bottle used and made good on it. soo all is well. thanx
