Youronlinedoctor: Refill process clarification.
      #133353 - 02/01/04 09:56 PM

Hi everyone,

Geezz I really apologize for not posting for over a week.
No excuses other than Libby and I are swamped with keeping up with transfers to TDI, e-mails and making sure that everyone gets their consults set up as usual.

I want to clarify how to do the transfers:

If you choose Bi-Wise: IMPORTANT: They do not accept South Carolina or Oregon patients. ( TDI Pharmacy can)

With Bi-Wise Pharmacy
1) you can call Bi-Wise directly or e-mail them: 727-343-7400 or e-mail them with your shipping information, shipping preference ( they use Fed ex) and make sure to give let them know your billing information also, name DOB etc.
Then, they contact Woody Pharmacy directly and the process is handled through the two of them.
All refills are available about 5 days prior to refill date and they prefer e-mail for your refills:

With TDI
IMPORTANT: THEY CANNOT SEND TO MISSOURI OR NEVADA( BI-WISE CAN)
You need to call Woody Pharmacy directly: 704-799-6697 or e-mail: and tell them that you want to transfer to TDI. You do not need to call or e-mail Youronlinedoctor to check on the transfer. Woody Pharmacy faxes to us all transfer requests that need to be handled through TDI and they are done the same day as long as we receive them by 3:00-3:30. ALL are sent to TDI IF we receive the request from WOODY"S. If we do not receive the request, we don't know that the transfer needs to be done.
With TDI please register as a new user if you do not have an account already set up with them at: www.tdipharmacy.com

You can place a new order anytime( even before your RX is sent over). Once you are registered just log in, click on new order and scroll down and fill out your shipping billing etc. TDI has a great feature where if your credit card is declined for any reason, you can choose to have it sent to you via COD and your account information will show up once processed at the bottom of the account page. Please make sure to do this with consults and transfers( register on their site and do the new order).
Then you can refill 5 days prior and you just log in and click on "refill order" and your information is there if you need to change it you can or keep the same. Very self explanatory. Their number is: 412-928-0788 if you have any problems with your order etc....
I feel really bad that so many of you have had a hard time with this, and I wish that I could do something to make the transfer process easier on those that have had a hard time but pleaseeee hear me through: Youronlinedoctor cannot just make a transfer without the OK from Woody Pharmacy:
Reason: Your RX MUST be out of the system at Woody Pharmacy before it can go to another pharmacy. If not, you would have the same RX in two places which as you all must know, cannot happen.

However, we do intervene at times but, we( Youronlinedoctor) has NO control over the transfers. I wish we could make it easier for those having a problem.

The consults are going very well and are not difficult like the transfers. WE have been very busy with consults and e-mails and transfers to TDI and I realize that we have not been very available but, we have to get the transfers out as quickly as possible and the consults done.

E-mails are answered throughout the day and once the transfers calm down and the e-mails, we will be more available by phone. WE have only TWO people working, Libby and myself and we are handling over 200 e-mails a day, many consult requests and trying to assist many with their problems with their transfers. WE are doing the best we can with 2 people and again, I apologize about the transfer process.
I know that in some ways we feel that we are responsible to make the transfers go through smoothly HOWEVER, what goes on "behind the scenes" is very very very stressful and I cannot explain because it is too difficult to explain the process but, it takes time.

So, I wanted to first explain the process again, and second apologize to those having problems with transfers.
Their e-mail is:

HOWEVER: CONSULTS ARE BUSINESS AS USUAL AND ARE GOING GREAT SO, PLEASE DON'T THINK THEY ARE CONFUSING !!!
CONSULTS ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY IF RECEIVED BY 6:00-7:00 P.M. EST. AS ALWAYS, SOME ARE RECEIVED AT MIDNIGHT AND SET UP THE NEXT MORNING :-)
A couple of things I want to mention before ending this message that may be adding to the problems( not all the problems)

1) When a transfer is done and a prescription is NOT received: sometimes ( many times last week), the patient has had an active RX at the pharmacy they chose which of course means you cannot get our RX until the OLD one runs out. Same with BiWise.

2) credit card issues: If your credit card is declined this can hold up your order ( with TDI as mentioned above, you can check the "send order COD etc".

3) Because we have to wait for the transfer request from Woody's for TDI transfers, we cannot do ANYTHING until we receive the fax for each patient. If we don't have it, we cannot do it. That is out of our control. However, we do call Woody's and check on some that have been waiting for a period of time to come through to us.
So, Youronlinedoctor is doing well, we are stressed and working about 12-14 hours per day right now so please do not think that anyone is being ignore on purpose. BUT, we have to get the consults and the TDI Transfers done and that is an entires day job!!!

AS soon as I hear something about when Woody's will be back, you will be told immediately and I will breath a big sigh of relief.

I do appreciate those that have sent us very kind and supportive e-mails, they are VERYYYYY much appreciated!!!

We are still offering 3 refills and for VIP members, the $30 off.

I really do not have time to be on the boards now, just e-mail the website and Libby will be answering e-mails all day long.

Pleaseeee do not request a refill through us though, as mentioned above we cannot take the refill request.

WE wil intervene when we feel needed or we will point you in the right direction!! Woody's phone lines ( as you well know) are very busy as we use the same number but, I do get through after several redials. Best time is later in the morning or afternoon.

We are asking that all patients e-mail the appropriate places or to call if possible because we do not have information about transfers that need to be made until AFTER we have done the TDI patients. WE do NOT have the informtation.

Bi-Wise and TDI are doing their best to get the transfers done and all new consults are being handled quickly.

You must allow 24 hours for a transfer to be processed. ( I know many have had to wait longer) but, please do not point fingers because there is a process and the process is not done in an hour.

Thanks
Kathy and Libby

My refill was transferred to TDI and it says one refill on the bottle. So much for the three refills. That only makes two refills on this consult.
Anyway....do I have to go through TDI to get my last refill?

This is NOT true!!

I (FINALLY!) got thru to Woody's this morning (2/2) & they told me that I had to have my script transferred to either TDI or Bi-Wise. (fyi - I also finally got thru to Bi-Wise this morning, they were very nice!)

I have been trying emails, phone calls, you name it, for the past 2 weeks and I hope and pray I get my refill tomorrow 2/3. I am out of meds and running out of patience!!

Well...I just wanted to keep you all updated as to what is going on....Good Luck To You All!!!

Chrissy

I just did my 2nd consult and the Norco 10/325 were about $99.50 plus shipping. So apparently YOD has negotiated the price of the meds for YOD patients because I believe that other Patients from other OP's have to pay a higher price for the Norco.

I was a bit confused on the shipping. I requested Overnight Shipping, and it was 25.00. I thought the package was guaranteed by 10 am the next day. When I received my meds the form had a place where they marked that I had Overnight Shipping but there was an option for Overnight Priority Shipping. I suppose the Priority will get it to you by 10am. I dont know if they offer it or not. I did contact UPS about my package not arriving by 10 am and they said with the shipping option I had chosen the package was guaranteed Overnight but not guaranteed by 10am. They said it was only guaranteed by 10am when being shipped to a business.

Hope this helps and if anyone can clarify the shipping I would appreciate it.

Has anyone else "lost" refills in this process. My refill is due in a couple of days, but I am leary of trying it. I thought for sure that Woody's would be back by now if they were going to come back at all.

It seems that we recieved our consults around the same time and I only recieved the oringinal script with two refills at that time. It was like a couple of weeks after my consult that they started the three refills back again.
Did your first bottle from Woody's say 3 refills on it or 2 refills? Mine said 2. I think we missed out.
About who will do the other refill, if woody's is back filling scripts at that time they will do the refill from what I was told when all this went down with them.
Hope this Helps

I've been trying for over a week to get my refill, so you guys that have gotten it in a few days.....count yourself on the lucky side! I can tell you the chances of me ever wanting to use Woody's or TDI again are very slim indeed.

Anyway, I called Woody's again this morning per YOD and the girl there told me that she thought they would be able to fill scripts again by next Monday. (don't quote me on that i'm just repeating what she told me)

Hope this helps!

take care all!

lebel02 BiWise charges $98 for that + shipping.

If you do a consult and request BiWise, you won't have any problems. They are wonderful, and you will receive a tracking #. You may even end up liking them better than Woody's, since they send a tracking # and Woody's doesn't.

A much wiser choice than TDI.

TDI is a source for too many right now. Bi Wise is a safer bet due to volume.

To further clarify, I don't think any of the delays are due to anyone's incompetence or poor service. I think all parties, YOD, Woody's, TDI, and Bi Wise, are all working overtime to get through a red tape mess; it is the volume.

WOODYS can only transfer remaining refills thay have in their system. But when you get a new consult w/YOD, they will give you 3 refills.

So now I'm confused. I want to schedule a new consultation...I faxed the form to YOD. Is that what I was supposed to do? Or am I supposed to get ahold of TDI. Kathy's email kind of confused me. Any help? Thanks!

Do you mean do you just contact TDI, or do you still call Woodys first?
My situation is similar, except for the lost refill part (the bad part, in other words!)
I had my first refill transferred about two days after Woody's stopped shipping, and the script went to TDI. When I got my order from them, the bottle said I had one refill left. Today I'm due for my last refill, and I just went to TDI and requested it as if it had originated there. I asked this question on the VIP board - do I have to call Woody's again and have them transfer for me again - and was told that someone had asked Kathy that very question and she said go straight throught TDI. So I'll see what happens and let you all know.

I just spoke to TDI and they swear they haven't received my transfer. I spoke with Woody's right before I called TDI and they swear they faxed my info 3 times. I asked Woody's if I could change to Biwise since TDI doesn't seem to be forthcoming with diddley squat ... they said NO.
I've emailed Kathy/Libby twice already with no reply.
Anyone have any advise ??
Boo hoo.

Ok - I just got my tracking number from TDI, so it looks like all is well.

You know, my hydro strength is only 5/500, and my pills are white watsons. Every time I've gotten different strengths, they've been different colors. Yellow for 10/325, blue for 10/500. Do they seem weak to you? I only ask because once I was sent 10/500's instead of 5/500's, and I called a pharmacist first and asked them to identify the pill for me before I took it. Glad I did, since I was used to half that strength!
