I recently hurt my shoulder in a ski accident. I was fine for a week, then it started to hurt. I got advice to go to a chiropracter first to have xrays and check me out. So anyways its been a month now, and it seems to be getting better, but i still have days of flare ups where it gets worse! Regular pain meds dont cut it. I was considering using a legit source for hydro, but want to know if these records will work. Thanks!
Greetings JM ... I'm sorry to hear about your accident. A bad shoulder is no fun and seems to affect everything you do.
In regard to OPs you will read on most all opening pages and service descriptions, included the FAQ section of the website, they can provide medications which you have previously used for your ailment. The medical records substanciate both the injury/illness and the use of the medication you are requesting.
These docs avoid prescribing a new medication to a patient not knowing how the patient will react. One example of this would be an allergic reaction to a medication you have never taken. You would not have immediate access available with the prescribing physician nor the ability to be seen by him/her. That incident would open an entirely impossible can of worms. The ER physician would first want to know how you received the medication and any relevent information.
When these sites request medical records I believe they want just that. Chiropractic records are an entirely different animal. I would suggest that chiro records might be priceless in addition to medical records, in that they would be able to add additional confirmation to the medical documentation in regard to your pain level.
Good luck with your healing. I wish you the best.

Chiropractors jokingly call themselves chiropractic physicians. They certainly are not medical doctors and I am extrememly skeptical of them calling themselves doctors at all.
I have heard them say that ALL PATHOLOGIES eminate from the spine. Give me a break. Are they practicing witch medicine?
Because a chiropractor substantiates that you have pain should substantiate your need for hydrocodone. I hope not. that would be BAD MEDICINE. Go get yourself some legit records. Its not that hard and although it may cost a bit more upfront, you won't have to endure dealing with shady companies.
If Op's will accept records from chiropractors then I will send them records from my massage therapist.
Similar in nature although I have gotten a lot more relief from a massage therapist than I have a chiropractor. And costs a lot less to!
Physical therapists. Now THAT is a bright group of professionals.
