I received Watsons on Tuesday 1/27 but they were 10/500s. Perhaps the Watson shortage is only for certain strengths - I haven't really been reading the board enough to know.
Take care

I am also feeling ill with the Ables. What the heck is it, just the fillers? The things I'm experiencing are upset stomach, freezing cold feet, mild diarhhea (normally constipated), my head feels like it's going to expode from pressure, and the last 2 mornings when I got up, I felt like I was in w/d's. I never feel that way with the Watsons even after not taking any throughout the night.
I don't have anything to substitute them with so I have to take them but it's a "damned if I do & damned if I don't" thing....hope I'm allowed to say that word here?? Well, if I find anything out I will post. Also, I will never accept those Ables, ever again. That's how strongly I feel that they are causing my problems.
Take care and I'm sorry for those of us with the Ables who don't like them & have to suffer!!!
TRS
Oh, and on the bottle it says 10/325 Watson (they're not) AND there is no expiration...I just was checking out the bottle...why wouldn't there be an expiration date?

Hello all, I just received my script from St.Petes and have the same complaints as well. I was out of meds for about a week and I have to take 3 of these for any relief. The yellow ones never made me feel sick either. But like I have read before everybody's bodies are different and they react differently to the fillers or what not. I'm not sure but I knew it was not for say "in my head". I wish I would of asked for 10/500. Oh well, what do you do when your in pain...just like what TRS said...your screwed if you do..and screwed if you don't. Anyway, I just wanted to add my thoughts on this also. I hate to complain but my bodies chemistry does conflict with these.
Take care all, and wishing everybody a pain free day and night.

My husband got his refill last week and decided to go with the 10/500 instead of the Norco because of what he has read about these Ables, and he got the blue Watsons, which he used to take months ago. Now he is complaining the strength is no where near the strengh of the yellow watsons, so looks like either way, not a good deal, bummer.

Does Norco go through any other pharmacy other than St. Petes?

I don't believe so, however I got meds from them last week that were the "good ones" so they must not have been completely out....or something. Guess I was just one of the lucky ones. Good luck to all!

That's odd...from reading through the board it seems most people (even those who regularly take 10/325s) find that the more APAP in the hydro combination, the higher the level of pain relief. I'd have to take 3-4 10/325s for the same analgesic effect as one 10/500. I know, I know, the 10/500s aren't great for my liver (and yes I do have regular liver function tests, lol) and I'll be switching to/alternating with Vicoprofen when my next consult is due.
I guess your husband's experience is yet another example of the differences in body chemistry.
Take care

Hi Partymom!!!! Did he order throuh NWW? If he did have him give Kimberly a call at the office-869-294-9551. Chris is out today at a meeting and doesn't want any of us to think he just disapeared. He will be back on the computor later this evening. Kimberly should be able to help you guys out with this

You could always take half a regular Tylenol with the 10/325 and get the relief of a 10/500 (12.5mg shy of the mark), but it's rare to find a regular Tylenol lying around once you've taken hydro for a long time. How well do you accommodate the Vicoprofen? Even regular Ibuprofen will wreck my stomach in just a day or two.

I had posted several days ago regarding the Abels I had gotten from St Petes/NWW on Tuesday. They are SOO weak I feel I am at a total loss with pain relief. I am very upset about this as I thought I was finally thinking that I found an outlet where I would have SOME kind of pain refief but here I am, taking these white Abels and they do nothing for me but make my stomach very upset and give me a horrible headache. I see that you say NWW would help?? What will they do? Is there anything that can be done since it is the pharmacy that sent these, not NWW??? I still have a whole month to go with NO pain releif AT ALL and am at a loss of words and feel VERY dissapointed and depressed. I can not put it into words,,,,,

I saw 2 people post yesterday who received the Watson brand Norco from St. Pete's on 2/4.
I just received the same yellow Watson 853's (10/325 strength) today (Thurs. 2/5) from St. Pete from an order they filled and shipped yesterday (Wed. 2/4), so it looks like St. Pete may have them back in stock.
A side note: NWW was VERY VERY helpful in getting me a same day consult and had great customer service with a special problem I had. However, St. Pete's shorted me on this order for the new #120 count. I tried to reach St. Pete for resolution and they do not seem to answer their phone. I had to go through NWW to get them to contact St. Pete on my behalf to get the shortage resolved to my satisfaction.
Some advice: count your pills from St. Pete, especially if you get the new #120 count norco. I've heard of 2 other people who got shorted.
To repeat: NWW was GREAT in helping me with the shortage and another special request I had (My hat is off to Chris, Kristy & Kimberly ), but I found St. Pete lacking. They claimed they use an auto counter for pills, so I must be lying about my shortage. I guess the CPA and other advanced mahmatics degrees I have don't qualify me to count to 120....
I'm glad to hear Chris is considering giving us other pharmacy options soon. Hopefully they will be available by my next consult since I really like and HIGHLY recommend NWW which is made EVEN BETTER by the personal help Chris can provide you here on db.com!!!

You are soooooo right about St. Pete's.
It's not NWW. I repeat....it's NOT Norcoworldwide. Chris will take care of any issue you have and will most likely do it immediately. St. Pete's will take forever, if at all.

Funny how you got a thank you note with your meds today. I got the same med today from St. Pete (which was short a small amount) and DIDN'T GET A THANK YOU NOTE which I find funny. They don't love me.
Again - this was taken care of by NWW which is a great place. I'm definately still doing business with them and perhaps with a new pharmacy if NWW gets one. I found the NWW folks to be very helpful and courteous throughout the process - it was the best experience I ever had with an OP until the pharmacy stepped in... It happens...NWW fixed everything for me and came through with flying colors...
