I did just receive a shipment from NWW/St. Petes on Friday and they were not Watsons yet. Hope this helps.

It still only affects 10/325, right?

Yes, this has been confirmed, by the pharmacy. I am having no luck getting through today, but the owner was here with me last week, and this is what I was told.

I recieved my shipment from St Pete's today and I got Ables brand hydro 10/325. IMO they seem to be a little stronger than the Watson brand I have gotten in the past but also everyone's body is different. I hope this helps everyones question!

I agree. For some reason the Ables do seem better at relieving my pain. It may be all in my head, but I really believe they work better. JMHO-

After reading all the comments on both watsons/ables, it seems like it does come down to personal preference. A long time ago I was given the ables and it seemed that they gave me headaches more so, than the watsons, but also they (ables) relieved my inguinal scar tissue pain better.. I guess they can affect different things in different ways.. All in all, I think I would go with the watsons, but as of now I don't use either one of the brands.. Good luck ya'll, sometimes it is just in your head, so have an optimistic outlook on the situation.

I suspect that a lot of this has to do with same brand tolerance issues.

Does that sound plausible to anyone??

I rec'd my medications from St. Peter's today, and although the hyrdro 10/500 was Watson, the soma was the Westward brand. There was no note in the package that I would be getting a substitute from my normal "DAN" soma. (Watson manufactures the DAN).

Has anyone else had a substitute for soma with no warning?

Thanks much,
jazzhound

I apologize for this medication issue,
It doesn’t matter if it is a personal preference or a physical intolerance to the different types. The bottom line is that you should get the brand you want. This is no different than me asking for a pack of Camels and getting Merits. Some my say, “A cigarette is a cigarette” but I want the brand I want.

I have been trying to get exact information on when St. Petes’ will be re-stocked with Watsons. They are at the mercy of their distributors. As soon as I get information, I will post it.

I thought I would try also,as I am almost two weeks late on the re-fill,and I am not sure of their policy on how late you can go on a re-fill,and something is better than nothing and good for emergencies,Well my order came today and they were yellow watsons I must say I was happy, cause I felt the ables were weak, not bad or anything, just weaker than the watsons, there is a difference, I just took one, there is a cleaner feel to it if that makes sense, these are nice and fresh, I've had not so fresh ones before.there is a difference there too..good luck to everybody waiting on the watsons I think there in..or we just got lucky mom,and they are doing every other order, and are getting a limited amount alotted to them, who knows, good luck to you all..snakey

I had replied a couple days ago regarding the Ables hyrdo being stronger. I had received them from St. Petes. When I posted I had taken a Watson earlier that day and I guess I was thinking in my head that maybe it was stronger but now I want to say that I definately is NOT stronger. I must say that they are noticeably WEAKER than the Watson's. As the Watson wore off I see that my pain is not being helped as much as it was. I am seeing that people are getting the Watson's again just the day after I got my refill and I am very dissappointed by this. I knew it was too good to be true to be out of pain for an extended period of time,, argh.

Hi all when I was wondering if anyone was having any problems with the Watson Hydro's comming from NorcoWorldwide (St Petes). My last 2 refills I know that there is something wrong with the medication. I have not complained about it because I am really unsure if the medicine could be causing the problems, but I have pretty much narrowed it down to the fact that last month everytime I took my pain medication I was EXTREMELY tired. I know that it says on the bottle may cause drowsiness, but they have never affected me like this before at all. Then this month the hydro gives me a horrible migraine headache everytime I take the meds and I become very irriatble and moody! Has anyone had any problems like this, or is it just me?

headaches are probably rebound effect. Your body starts rejecting the same pain killer if you use it over and over again. Put shortly

I have to say I experienced the same thing about a month or so ago, not attributed to rebound. I am familiar with rebound, and have actually experienced that. This was different. I have moved on to another round, and the side effects you mention are subsiding. I honestly felt there might be something else in the medication, though I didn't get it from the same source as you. I think as with any product, there is always room for error. Bad batch. Someone didn't mix something appropriately. Obviously we aren't chemists and have no recourse, other than to assure one another we aren't crazy.

The refill is yours to order, I'm sure there is no time frame for reoerdering. The Watsons are back in so if you haven't already you can go ahead and order now. Give
Kimberly a call at the office-863-294-9551 and she'll be able to tell you for sure. Chris is out this morning at a meeting and doesn't want anyone here to think he just dissapeared. he'll be back on later this evening.
