Norco-Medication says NO to refills?
      #131791 - 01/26/04 04:06 PM

I am very pissed, I faxed my records and even received a confirmation from my Fax machine and this place still sayd I have no refills available??? I just sent Rocky a PM, he better come through for me. I heard it was a problem getting refills from this place. I did not just spend almost 200.00 to get 90 and nothing else ):

I have said this before, but I will say it again in case you missed it. Online scripts (or norco medication, same place) has some kind of problem approving medical records; they just take a VERY long time to get it done. It will, EVENTUALLY get done, I had to wait a week, I know people who had to wait longer, but once you get past that their service is good. When they finally get your records approved (this seems to get done quicker if you have the patience to hold for a while and argue with cs for a while, they will say there is nothing they can do, but it seems to speed things up anyway) they will automatically charge your card the next day around 3 am and fill and ship your meds the same day. I too was really aggravated with them when i was trying to get my first refill, but I just got my last refill today and it went perfectly. They sent me an email that my refill was due on the 24th so I could make any shipping or billing changes ahead of time, charged my card at 3 am on the due day, and filled and shipped it same day (sat) and I got it right on time today. I know what you are going through and I don't know why they have so much trouble getting to the records in a timely manner, but I hope it helps to know that they WILL come through, just not quickly, on the upside, the last refill went so well that I am considering staying with them, as long as I don't have to send in my records again, that really seems to be the only problem with them. Sorry to go on, I just wanted you to know that they aren't crooks, they just have to straighten out a few kinks, get through this and give them another chance when it's time for your last refill.

PS Rocky should get back to you by pm, but he often takes a while to do that, at least 3 days in my experience, best to just call if you can, and be VERY insistent! Hope this helps!

My suggestion is to go with an OP that has a PROVEN record of service. Why would anyone want to waste their precious time and aggrivation on this organization (the same one that USED TO BE MEDS 123 a RAN OFF WITH SO MANY PEOPLES MONEY)?

They were a problem then and CONTINUE to be a problem now!!

Actually voyager, we're not meds123 nor are we the same company as them.

jojom, when you get the chance you have mail (pm that is).

meowsie, thank you for your supportive words and I sincerely apologize about the delay with my reply to you.

It sounds exactly like Meds123, they used to take forever to get your medical records approved for your first refill on your medication. I had to fax in recors five times to them.

I agree with you 100%. There are several other OP's on this board with impeccable reputations. I cannot fathom why anyone would share their personal medical history and information such as SSN with a company that is anything less than professional and reputable.

I have no personal experience with this company, so I won't go so far as to say anything bad about them, however I have seen a few negative posts. Until their status is clarified and they are deemed to be an honest and professional organization, why risk your money, identity, and private information?

Hi,

I faxed them 3 times, and I even PM rocky as he said to do to confirm he has received them and my refill will go out Tommorow as planned. I am too worried about the hands they are in??? If I am faxing them and no one is getting them, where are they??? I really hope Rocky helps me on this because its not my fault and I deserve my 2 refills like every other place gives ):

In a nutshell I will advise you to use Y.O.D. They have great service. They are having some problems with one of their Pharmacys "Woodys" but they still have TDI Pharmacy and they ship out overnight. I did my 2nd consult on Monday of last week and had meds in hand on Tuesday at noon. I am a firm supporter of YOD and I think you will find many , many more YOD Fans.

Hope everything works out well for you,

MB

I have a few questions on this OP...don't they know that you need to have your meds in 30 days, depending on the med...Norco-med gives away the name but faxing them three times...heck I can't even fax them once without them losing the paperwork... Rocky has his work cut out for him and I just wonder about this place...probley the previouse poster is right...so sad that most of us chronic and panic people can't play basketball..the hoops are to high....thanks Norco-meds...Boo

I paid them good money and I feel like it was all for nothing but a one time excellent experience

Rocky, hum...I have IMd him to death to try to get answers on why my records have not been recieved after sending them three times...I would like to use C.O.D as well...I am not sure why he can get ahold of a doc and what is with the people that are dioing the records are up to....I hate to say it but too me it looks like a one hit wonder..sorry Rocky I am just plain sick and tired of paying over $200 for a measley 90 pills, first off it's not fair and second you should make it a mandatory thing on the first consult so that this is not a problem...jmho..I am going to give this till Friday then I will take my biz someplace else that will answer my questions and help in the matter...I should have just stayed with mvw for this med as well...oh well..we live and learn...Boo ps..JOJO...could happen for you at least..mine was due on the 30th...what does tha tell you...

I sure do hope they did not charge me if they are not even sending it out Today, I will cancel and go somewhere else like NWW where the service is better, I am sorry to Rocky but how hard could it be to get the Dr, you use on the phone? Customer service was not nice and they said you will have to wait until Friday? I will have to just cancle with you. Please do not charge my card, I will dispute the charges immediately

In defense of this OP. My order came as promised when I had my consult. My refill came as promised when it was due. My records were received by OLS and it was posted as such on their website. I'm not sure why everyone is having such problems out of this OP. I've just not had the same issues. The only problem I did have was that I was charged for Saturday delivery ($33!!) but did not receive Saturday delivery nor did I request it. I'm going to give Rocky the benefit here and say I'm confident it's something he will get worked out for me.

I'm sorry folks are having such a time here. I've had a good experience and wanted to post such on this thread.

I already sent an email to Customer Service saying cancel my account and DO NOT CHARGE ME! I am fed up at this point and Rocky has not even responded all day to me so thats it with them, I am not wasting anymore time and frustration with them. I am glad it worked out for you above, they claimed to have never received my records until yesterday , yeah right....

Unless my order arrives Tomorrow, I highly doubt it will- do not even bother sending it

Don't worry about it JOJO you'll have your meds in a jiffy if you read the threads from this company...my big deal is the Credit card, my husbands,..oh they took it from me on the consult but now for refill they will not...well as far as I am concerned my records are probley with that credit card as well...NO MORE NORCO-MED for me...thought they would be a nice company to deal with....Boo

Hi,

I just wanted to update that I did have a consult with NWW Today and it went great. I have to say Rocky is helping me and he put my account on hold so in the future when I am done here I can get the refills I paid for and DESERVE! I think I was a bit harsh in calling customer service and being , well not very nice. I am usually extra nice to Customer Service beause that is what I did for years so I know how hard it can be to have a nasty customer.
I was just so frustrated at that point and it was not there fault, they cannot control the refill process without the Dr. I do think they need a little bit more structure, like where are records we faxed them???? They did receive mine after the 3rd try, but the other two times???
NWW confirmed over the phone with me and never said they did not receive them. They even said it was better than most because I just had complete blood work in Oct. so it shows all my vital signs are trucking away...

Just had to vent a little, hey Boo is Rocky helping you still with the refill situation?

I faxed my records Monday night and they went through. I called CS on Tue. and was told that the Dr. was out until Friday so I would have to wait until then to get them approved. Thur. website says my records have been received and that my refill is in shipping! I guess the Dr. got back early and I should have them Friday!
