OK... I am currently taking hydrocodone for CP, and have come down with the full-on flu. From reading the posts here about using Immodium AD for withdrawl symptoms, would taking Immodium AD have any effect on the pain relief from the hydrocodone? Since I have the flu, and we all know the nasty "things" that come with the flu, I was just wondering if it would decrease the effects of the pain relief, or if I shouldn't take anything and wait it out. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
I have full blown flu right now and had to go to the dr becuz i thought i had strep, there was no meds prescribed other then cough syrup and to take advil, tylenol yuck to bring the fever down, the dr is aware of my hydro and i do not take extra tylneol ever i hate the stuff, but the advil helped alot bringing down the fever. you can not taste too well or feel like eating and taking hydro right now for me is not making a big difference becuz everything hurts and time such as a few days will make nothing better. for sure immodium will help and take it if you need it. i have had the other problem becuz of taking hydro so diaherra has not happened yet. the cough syrup has codeine in it so maybe that is why i am sleeping better and not in too much pain. this is just my experience.
