Well, my doc gave me percocet 5/325's I take about three at a time.
So today, I took my normal dosage and something made it seem I took 3x's the amount!
I know for sure I only took 3. I almost felt like I was going to pass out. My head was really swimming round and I have never had such a sensitive reaction to hydrocodone in my life!
I wonder if in the making of these things, sometimes a little extra gets added by accident?

I don't think that "a little extra" could be added to a pill. The pills are manufactured under pretty strict standards. I think the process is probably computer run. But hey if there is a computer glitch who knows? Pills can affect you differently day to day. It can depend on your mood before you take the pills, what you have eaten, if you have excercised or done any physical activity, or any other meds you took with them. Just my 2 cents! Have a good night!

Had you taken any other medications? Sometimes meds can be potentiated by even OTC stuff like Tagamet. Just a thought.

1. you mentioned hydrocodone never affected you this way before. percocets have oxycodone which is about 1.5x stronger on most people. I'm sure that was just a typo.
2. I find the effects of percocet to be stronger on an empty stomach. Also when taken with a tranquilizer like Xanax. Finally, I the time of day to influence how well the percs treat my pain and make me feel.
Did you do anything differently like mentioned above? I seriously doubt the different feeling was due to pill variation within a given script.

I've had similar experiences when I've taken oxy- on an empty stomach after eating poorly for several days. Are you eating properly? I know it sounds trivial, but when I got that "bonked" feeling, like I had just run a marathon to exhaustion, I could usually trace it to (possibly) a blood sugar reaction based on too little fuel in the furnace.
