Well DB gang I'm back home.
Sore? Yes,extremely!
They replaced the mitral valve with a Bovine(Cow)
valve. I may get the urge to graze or mooooove on to
something else.
The strongest pain med that I'm receiving is Wygesic, he
dosen't want me taking anything stronger than that. They
don't help that much, but they are better than nothing.
Also they have me on Coumadin an anticoagulant for the next
3 to 6 months.
I do have to go back next friday to have the drains and
stitches removed.
One of the good things that did come out of this is that I have
not had a cigarette since tuesday, I want one, but I'm just not
going to do it. Wish me luck on that part.
Well I'm tired so I'm not going to type to much.
Just glad to be back with you all.

Well, welcome back. I guess you had mitral valve prolapse? It's nice to hear that you've made a speedy recovery and are glad to be back. I'm sure that we're all glad to have you back, looking forward to your posts.

Welcome back! I'm wishing you a speedy recovery, but you make sure that you take it very easy and let your body heal. I have mitral valve prolapse and although it's never given me any problems (except taking antibiotics before most procedures) was told that there was always a possiblity sometime down the road that I could need the same thing. I doubt that I ever will (knock on wood) but I'm glad to hear that it went well for you!

Welcome back! I wish you the best of luck on the smoking cessation. Smoking killed my mom & it's a toughie to stop. I'm glad I never started. Again-welcome back & good luck! Catmom

I am sooooooo happy you are back!!!!! Now I am really laughing at the cartoon under your name:

Yes, no more smokes! With the money you save you can install inset rope lighting along all the walkways in your home and put a galaxy of mirrored globes overhead
to you!!!

Great to have you back!
