Today a neighbor brought me a couple of pills that someone had given her, claiming they are generic Percocets. I've tried Drugs.com, rxlist, and idthispill, to no avail. These tablets are six-sided, orange colored, and the only imprint on them is 170 on one side, nothing on the other. No score either. I am perplexed, as I do not want my neighbor taking these when I cannot ID them. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance to any of our DB wizards here who may shed some light on this for me.

I don't know. They are definitely not any oxycodone generics that I have ever come across (or that show up anywhere online as being a hexagonal orange tablet.) I wonder if it could be a generic of Inderal. I also know that Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is a hexagonal orange tablet.
I looked over my usual resources (have my secrets! ) and there is just nothing.
One last thing...I wonder if it isn't a calcium supplement or vitamin (wouldn't necessarily be listed as a drug in the usual places.)
I'd take it to a pharmacy and ask. They probably have a better database to use.

Thank you, Night Shade. I had literally pored over this puter yesterday, and I too have a feeling it is perhaps Inderall. I did speak with my neighbor last night (and yes, it really is a neighbor LOL) and told her that I was pretty sure this was not any form of oxy...
Thanks again, appreciate it!

I, too, searched for over two hours on this one and returned stumped. Most Inderal has an identifying "I" on it, so it might not be this. I'm just not sure.

Sounds similar to an OTC antacid type-med I have taken, although for the life of me, I can't remember which one.... Since it can't be found on any ID print databses, it is most likely something OTC (they don't usually catalog all of the OTC medicines) -
In any case, I am about 99% sure it is NOT what it was claimed to be, by whomever they came from.
Definitely not Percocet, although it could be an Rx drug of some sort. Never heard of ANY percocet that looked even remotely like that. Almost ALL percocet (both brand and generic) come in the form of white/round tablets.

BTW, I would inform your neighbor to DEFINITELY not take these.... Not even 'just to find out for sure' - They could have come from anywhere and be anything. Someone's blood pressure meds, meds geared toward a specific disease/ailment, etc etc.... Could be not safe, to say the least..... Oh and also tell your neighbor to look the pill ID up (or already know what they are accepting) BEFORE taking mysterious pills from someone!! Or better yet, don't take mysterious pills from anyone at ALL! I have seen Endocet, Roxicet, and name-brand Percocet and they are all white and round ( at least the 5mg ones are) - The 10mg Endocet are long green capsule-shaped tablets..... This is not any form o oxycodone, but who knows what it is?!?! Hope they were 'free' Take it easy, and tell that crazy neighbor to be more careful in the future!!

Yes, since she doesn't have a computer at home, I told her to call me ANYTIME for an ID. I would never take something just "given" to me...she didn't take one, and yes, at least they were given to her so she didn't throw away any money.
I appreciate the responses and help, guys.
