Buymeds
      #120325 - 12/04/03 06:48 AM

I placed an order with them yesterday morning.
The status still says "In Review"
Pharmacy status says "Waiting on Doctor"
How long does usually take ?
I sent them an e-mail , but no response yet.
Thanks !

They are not as quick as the used to be. I think they are really swamped due to the demise of other no record OPs. My last order took 4 day from placing to order to having meds in my hand. Check out some of the other posts on Buymeds. Many people had the same experience.

My cousin ordered on Monday, Dec 1. It sat in Dr. review untill Wednesday morning, when it was approved. She got a tracking number yesterday afternoon, which became active around 8:00 PM eastern. Fed Ex says package to be delivered Friday, Dec 5 by 7:00pm. So, if you had to use two day shipping like my cousin did (it was the only shipping method offered to her), and it gets approved today, you'll probably receive on Monday. If it doesn't get approved untill tomorrow, then it may not be untill Tuesday before you get it. Keep in mind, this is only what I can infer from my cousin's experience. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

You're right. I think I'm to blame. All apologies for making things confusing.

No reason to say sorry. I was just making an observation. Buymeds must be happy about all the new bus. Expensive, but happy.

Is Buymeds the only place left that people are able to get meds without records? I know they state that they "need" them, but I don't think that anyone sends them in.

Know someone that used them recently. They did not have to send one thing in, no phone call, etc. I believe it says they reserve the right to require records,i.d., etc if doctors asks for them, at least last time I checked.

I know that they may not call everyone, but they did call a friend of mine and asked him to send records and to further clarify his condition. They also had him fax in I.D.

They used to be good in a real pinch, but prices went up $20-30 OVERNIGHT just before Thanksgiving. Ticks me off that they are taking advantage of the current situation, so won't be back no matter how bad the pinch is.......I've never had to wait more than 3 days for receipt from them, but I lost any respect I had after the price raise.

I feel ya. But for those of us w/no records and little options, this is still the best thing going! $30-$40 higer is better than Expedia charging $300 for 60 generic 10/500's!

Who would have thought that BuyMeds would outlast Tropical? I would have lost the farm on that bet!

Brian

Their prices may have went up, but if you want a good laugh, go check out the expediameds.com website. I looked at it like Brian did, and the prices are wayyyy up there.

And they even change from day to day. I find it sad that they can do business that way, but its basic economics unfortunately......supply and damand and being the last of (or at least one of the last of)a dying breed type of O.P.

Yes, it's sad. Another thing they fail to realize is that many people who use credit are lucky to have it. As such, many of them are using "starter cards" with limits of $250 to $300, so expediameds just priced them right out of the ball park.

Expediameds - a pile of rubble waiting to collapse.

Prices are high, but I've used them 3 times, and a friend of mine has ordered as many, and we've always gotten our packages surprisingly quickly.

Most recent: ordered Jan 28, received Jan 30!

So, you and your friend who continue to pay high prices for surprisingly quick packages with lines of credit larger than those specified by myself are speaking about whom, BuyMeds or ExpediaMeds? Thanks.
