If anyone has ever seen this particular problem with their internet explorer browser, my browser keeps pointing to something called "incredifind" and I have no functionality with the browser, currently I'm logged-in from work (it sucks). I've already done research on this problem and it is known as "the hijacking of your browser", and it is a type of spyware and I've done the deleting of the registry keys associated with this website and all other steps suggested on the interent for a fix . It no long is looking for this site but I'm still unable to connect. After re-installing the operating system "windows millenlium" and re-installing internet exporer 6.0, and I reseted the web setting. Still unable to connect to internet. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I miss this place, "logging in from home". Thanx everyone.

Have you run the Lavasoft Ad-Aware program (freeware available by download from a number of sites- just do a google search)? It will often clean up these situations by finding and isolating files associated with the offending spyware.

The best program I have found for this problem is made by 'Webroot' Its called Spysweeper, and the first time I ran it found 7 spyware programs running on my computer. It only takes seconds to install and is very easy to work with.

Spybot is a free software application that can both remove adware and spy software and innoculate your PC against infection as well. It is truly amazing, and many commercial programs have adopted its means of detecting and protecting as the basis for their own.
Visit the Safer Netowrking web site for download.

If you've gone so far as to reinstall your operating-system and browser, you may have to set up your entire internet connection from scratch. Was your hard-drive reformatted when you reinstalled the OS, or did you reinstall to the existing directories? Was your connection dial-up or broadband?

When you think it's beyond your comprehension, it probably just precedes it.
