Thinking about using YOD for a consult----I had heard very good things on Woody's----especially the prices. Can anyone tell me about prices at TDI---will they be similiar??? thanks
I've been using YOD for quite a while. Their turn-around time is very good and they have always been prompt with scheduling. The doc's they use are very nice and take the time to listen to what you have to say... something other OP's should take notice of.
As for their CS, Kathy and Libby are doing a fantastic job and I always make it a point to thank them and express my appreciation for their hard work. Some might take them and the service for granted, but just as in any profession, people like to hear positive feedback if they do a good job. You can bet they hear it if there is a problem, so why not praise them when you have a good experience?
Their usual pharmacy, Woody's, is probably the best out there. Their prices are excellent, they actually answer the phone and speak to you with respect when you call, and have always been reliable with regards to shipping, count, and quality. Honestly, I can't say enough about the guys (and gals) in NC. We all know that there is some sort of problem with them at the moment. However, i'm sure they want to continue doing business as usual and are working to get things back in order.
In the meantime, Kathy and Libby have scrambled to keep the wheels turning by contracting with TDI, and now Bi-Wise. In my opinion, neither pharmacy is as good as Woody's. However, they are good substitutes given the situation and I applaude YOD for their efforts. Both TDI and Bi-Wise are more expensive. I think you can expect to pay about $10 more for your scripts from either place. However, Bi-Wise is definately a more professional organization. They are a legit pharmacy chain in the South with several locations, and most of their business is face-to-face (like your local Walgreens). Their CS is excellent and it's never a problem talking to the pharmacist. TDI is ok, but they don't follow their own procedures and their CS is sub-standard. Also, their bottle labels contain minimal information. Compared to the labels printed by Woody's and Bi-Wise, TDI's look like something you might have made yourself with an old dot-matrix printer. If you have the option to choose who processes your prescription, i'd go with Bi-Wise... at least until Woody's returns ;-)
