I have recently placed an order through them after seeing one of thier lovely messages in my email box. I placed the order and after a week of waiting I emailed them to see what was up with my order. This is the response I received from Customer Service:
"We are sorry to inform you that due to new regulations in place as of 12/15/03 it is a criminal offense to prescribe medications based soley on an online consultation....Your order for ..... was faxed to your doctor awaiting your thier approval for the prescription you are requesting. Once we receive written approval from your Doctor we will send your order to be filled by our pharmacy."
If they are contacting my Dr. and awaiting him to approve the script what the hell would I go through your web site and pay those prices when I could have my own local pharmacist fill it much cheaper at that point!!
Anybody heard this before or know what kind of regulations this is??

Wow, that is weird. I hope it doesn't bring you any unwanted attention from your doctor. My doc is so nice, but I would still be totally freaked out if an OP called him.

Many sites are putting this notice up - there will not be ANY no-records OP's in the near future folks.... (which will *hopefully* give the rest of the OP community much more legitimacy in the eyes of gov and media)
Telemedical regulations dictate that it is illegal to prescribe ANY medication (controlled OR un-controlled) based solely on the online questionnaire....Anyone could say anything on an online questionnaire. Medical records establish that you do indeed have the condition you are seeking meds for. BIG difference. For the 'doubter's' - do some reading on the net regarding telemedical regulations (notice I said 'regulations' - yes, it has not been made LAW yet, but it IS the regulations, and will SOON be the Law)..... Many people seem to think that no-records OP's and records-requiring OP's are equally at risk of being shut down. The real truth is - the no-records OP's are CAUSING the risk of ALL the OP's being shut down.

Vic7 -
I didn't notice you said you already placed an order - just do a chargeback, get your money back, get your medical records, and get away from the nightmare that is the 'no record' OP world.... Trust me, you will thank yourself forever for it!

Well as a matter of fact I did kind of hate for them to call him as last time i visited him (Urgent Care Facility) I had a wicked headache. I brought an empty bottle of Hydro with me to be able to casually show the Dr. the bottle (easier than coming out and asking for me) that ..."last time my family Dr. prescribed this for me and it really seemed to work for the most part" Doc looked at the bottle got his script out and wrote for Percocet instead!!
How may times do you ask for something like a vike and end up getting stronger like percs??
Needless to say I can't go see him anymore. That process seems stupid, I can't imagine anyone using their service with those kind of rules in place...

You could casually (some time soon) make an appt at that Dr's office and during your exam tell them how stressed out you are because you (think) you are a victim of ID theft. Really lay it on thick about all the things you have to keep checking, credit cards, bank statements, changing all of that....
Maybe this OP didnt really contact them and this way your not coming out and asking the DR "Hey, did this online pharmacy contact you and say that I was looking for a RX for painkillers?"
You could figure out a good way to put it but you know what I mean...

As long as there are no records OP's maybe the DEA want have time to mess with the record OP's. Any way you look at it(and everyone has different opinions)That one little sentence in the regulations make all OP's stay in that GREY area. Patient-doctor face to face consults. In the eyes of LE they are all not within the proper guidelines for prescribing controlled meds. So all of the OP's are equally at risk of having the plug pulled on their web sites. No records Op's that require a port-a-med visit stand a better chance of making it though the storm than any Op that requires you to send in a few pages of med records in return for a script because they have your RECORDS.
Like I said stated above everyone has their opinion and thats mine.

PS My other opinion is you better look out for hard and painfull days ahead and PREPARE yourself to weather the storm that are begining to brew with ALL of the OP's.
