Unless what you read mentioned a danger of some sort, I would take a dose that I was familiar with and be as objective as I could in how they affect you. That will give you a much better indication of how well they work. People's opinions on different brands vary.

I have some 2 mg mylan xanax, and they don't seem any different to me than the brand. I have both so I have compared. However, mine aren't round, so that is curious.

Bango, What are you reading about them or experiencing?
Qbird, they are indeed round, white, with Mylan A4 imprint. See the third picture down in this link:
http://www1.eckerd.com/Rxadvisor/showpics.asp?monotype=full&cpnum=16&gname=Alprazolam
I've taken Mylan 1 mg (blue, round, A1 imprint) and noticed they seemed to be a bit weaker than other generics I've used like greenstone blue footballs, but it could be my imagination.

Well that is interesting, my bottle says Mylan but according to your pics they are geneva, same inprint and all. That is odd. The only ones I did not see are the yellow bars, sort of different. I am not sure what generic it is, obviously not greenstone like it is supposed to be. Oh well they work great at any rate.

I have been on alprazolam for 3 years and was surprised when my pharmacy switched me from the generic 2 mg. "bars" to the round mylan tablets. I must say that I noticed no difference whatsoever.

Never gave them a try ( I try to stay stay away from Xanax), having had a episode with them. But I've noticed, when it comes to "Mylan" brand of meds they are usually weak in nature. I've tried both "Mylan" brand of "Valium" and "Temezepam: and they both almost had no effect. I always tell the pharmacist when filling a script for a benzo that I absolutly do not want any "Mylan" brands and the even pharmacists admit that they recieve more complaints about "Mylan" brand generics then any other brand. Believe or not, I tried the "Geneva: 2mg "XanaX" and they were pretty good. In fact there are not that many companies that produces the 2mg "XanaX. I was kind of hoping "Watson" gets into the act since they pretty-much got there hands got their hands in just about everything else, usually their brand of product, be it "Norco"-"Valium" is of good quality. I thought I throw in my two cents, I would hate for you to lose money and time on a useless product. Till next time dude, "The Bango's "Banjo" plays on, the smoke enters the airways, as we inhale, and get to know ourselves within our own internal dimensions, where all is "REEL" and the Bango's "Banjo" gently weeps "Melodies", and we smile and "laugh" forever.

Well I was thinking what is wrong with Mylan Xanaxs, man I didn't know I was taking Genevas. Thanks for the info. I wish I knew what the yellow ones are. Didn't see those, but they seem ok too, and they are from a US pharmacy.

The 2 mg. yellow bars are PUREPAC. Walgreens dishes those out for generics.
