Mexico Update

I just returned from 10 days in cancun and wanted let everyone know about my experience in regards to what is currently available.

In all of the pharmacies that i visted I was told that oxycontin is NO LONGER sold in mexico. I was told that due to excessive diversion (surprised?) that it is no longer available in any pharmacies in mexico. Just a heads up to those that order off of mexican websites purporting to sell oxy.

I did find valium and 1 and 2 mg xanax. Regarding narcotics, I did see tylenol 3 (the mexicans call it tylex ) and the strongest narcs I was able to find ANYWHERE were codiene 50mg/diclofenac na and .2mg temgesic.

I believe that the hard to get narcs are probably only available in certain specialty hospital pharmacies.

what if you saw a mexican doc and got a script? Do you think you could get some then? I'm going to Cancun in a couple of months myself

It DOESN'T MATTER. In cancun, they are VERY STRICT about controlled meds and although there are lots are pharmacies around only a couple carry xanax and codiene. They also will only sell it with a prescription. VERY STRICT!
