What is the Difference?
      #130083 - 01/19/04 09:11 AM

what is the difference between Lortab 5/500 and Vicodin (5/500)

is there even a difference when you break it down to the generic? in other words, if the generic is hydro 5/500 and the OP says they are ordering generic lortab 5/500 versus vicodin 5/500 is there any real difference?

best wishes and good health to all....

The only difference would be name brand vs. generic. 5/500 is 5/500. Generic will be much cheaper than name brand. Then you have V ES, which is 7.5/750, 10/500 Lortab, Lorcet 10/650 and then there is V HP or something like that, which I think is 10/600 and of course Norco, which is 10/325. The 5/500 is the weakest form of Vicodin. Hope this helps, it can be kind of confusing. There is also a form of hydro that is 10/400 - I think that's called Zydone or something?
