Wow. Ever since Josh, Manager of PacificViewMedical.com, stepped-up and posted forthright, open facts regarding PVM OP physician struggles, challenges, etc many OPs & affiliates have quickly duplicated the open communication. Nice trend.
If I were a conspiracy theorist, I am not, I would suggest collusion or a marketing scheme to grab new enthusiastic & confident customers.
Open communication is a sound business practice. So thanks Josh & others for finally posting candid information vs. historical excuses & blame.

I have always thought it better to be honest with patients, rather than either leaving them in the dark, or making up a lame excuse.
If I started this trend, I am glad. All of you deserve to know whats going on with the companies that you do business with.

That was very good of you, Josh.
Any idea when we can expect a new doctor? Will you continue to use Bi-Wise (and does anyone know who will be using Bi-Wise now, if MidlandMC is going to stop with the new consults)? A 3 refill special, a VIP discount, the ability to have reconsults without speaking to the doctor again, might be some good selling points for the future? Maybe letting us pick our appointment time like we can with Fedxmeds or SWMG? Maybe compounded meds could be in your future? The ability to let us email you our medical records? A completely revamped, feature-rich website totally customer oriented would make you a great OP. I would pay extra for those features.
I used PVM for one consult, and I have to say it was the best OP experience I've ever had. The doctor was caring, Bi-Wise was on top of things and got my tracking number right away, and Josh is around to answer your emails late at nite.
Btw, this is my 600th post

We are still searching for a new Physician. Yes. we will still be using Bi-Wise.
MidlandMC.com stopped using Bi-Wise several months before they stopped accepting patients.
We do offer a VIP Discount of $15.
The number of refills given is up to the Physician, so it depends on the Physician we employ. But it could be a possibility.
As far as compounded medications, PVM wont be offering that.
Patients can E-Mail us thier Medical Records. The patient would just need to let us know that they wish to use this option.
As far as our website:
We started off with the idea of having a simple website, nothing fancy just enough to get the job done. This was done for 2 reasons.
#1 - We are not a large company with a lot of money to spend on web design.
#2 -We couldnt find anyone to design the kind of site that SWMG or FedXMeds has. We would love to have a site where patients can choose thier own consult time, and have a site rich in features for our patients.
Thanks for the kind words, and suggestions.

Bi-Wise is not a compounding pharmacy.

Josh,
Thank you very much for all the info! I have not used PVM yet, but after reading in your post that PVM accepts medical records to be emailed I might have to give your company a try!
As a disabled person who also has to carefully spend my fixed income. Being able to handle the records by email would be great!! I do have a scanner to download my records as I am sure many other cp sufferers do. I think you should really advertise that you offer this great convienence! As far as I know no other OP does this,so this would really help you get more customers.
Again thanks for the info!
