PO holding sig needed envelope
      #129022 - 01/14/04 01:35 PM

I work during M-F Post Office hours. I got the note on my front door that my Clickdrugstore package arrived and is being held at the PO (nobody home to sign). The 2 other orders from them it was like Thurs or Fri and I picked it up Sat morning - no problem.

This week I got the note on the door on Monday will the PO keep it until Saturday? Is there a 3 day rule and then it goes back? I am guessing there going to wait before they send it half the way around the world. I would call but dont want to bring tooo much attention to myself.

Thanks in advance - Z

Don't worry. Every letter (certified, registered, domestic, international etc...) gets that pink slip.

If they wanted to arrest you, they would wait until you get home.

Just a photo ID and you are on your way.
Why don't you sign the card and put it in the box w/ a note.

Really, no problems.

I personally would simply call the PO and explain you work during the hours they are open and would like them to hold your package until Sat. My only order with Clcikdrugstore was very discreet and simply looked like an envelope with pictures in it perhaps..no rattling or odd shaped envelopes. I wish US ops would direction from Click as when I receive my meds from MVW its so obvious that its a bottle with pills as you can feel it and hear it! OPPS got off the topic, sorry
Anyways, that is what I would do . Hope it works out for you

Definitly call them and ask if they will put a note on it that you will pick it up sat. or ask them what else you can do since you work during the day. BECAUSE the PO where I live will hold it 3 days ONLY then they send it back if they haven't heard from the recipient.

You also may be able to sign the slip and leave it for the postman and then he will leave the package at your step, The PO will usually do this unless the box is checked off on the slip not to. But a call to ask would be a good folow up too.
