I read a short story in the USA Today on November 13th and can't find it online, but I wanted to do some research on this guy and see if he is friend or foe. Several of us have been searching for someone that would be on our side and someone who could be a voice for us and our issues. Until I am able to post the link and content of the article, I wanted to post the last paragraph of this article which includes a quote from this doctor, who happens to be the President of the American Medical Association in Chicago:
*************************************************
This year, the AMA launched a continuing education program on pain management. It is available to physicians without cost and covers issues including barriers to effective pain management, pain management in substance abusers and pain assessment and treatment. In just six months, more than 84,000 physicians have ordered the educational program. "In the rush to address drug abuse, it is critical that we do not unintentionally discourage patients and physicians from appropriately treating chronic pain."
**************************************************
Prettyday, Snooter, etc. - maybe this is our man? Penny in an envelope? Not sure, but something to think about. I'll keep searching for the article.

What would this doctor gain from being an advocate for those needing drugs from online pharmacies?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question

Not a stupid question, but given the scale of the issue at hand I'd say he is just standing up for what he believes on the large scale for the good of all patients in pain, that have not been helped. Sounds to me like a great doc that believes in the right of people to do what they need to enjoy one of the most basic human rights of all: [semi] comfortable physical existance!
