Money is all. They(TM) do not go after booze because they make tax money off the booze, just as they do with the smokes.

Many say drinking lets out another you. I tend to think of it as a lesser you. Sober, humans possess many neccessary attributes that make them human. Drinking too much can easily switch these off, thereby rendering one "sub-human". Case in point: once I was awakened by my mother wondering why there was a half chewed up raw steak in the kitchen sink and blood all over the place. Then I remembered. It was not pretty at all. I know I was hungry, but Jesus.

I think every substance that exists should be legal to people 21 or older. A person should be able to go to the corner store and pick- up a 100-count bottle of 160mg oxycontin,or a vial of ketamine if you want to. If these things were always around, people wouldn't be so intrigued by the negative stigma attached to them. I think this would go a long way in preventing abuse by underage people. Not to mention the reduction in crime by people trying to obtain drugs illegally.JMO.

They would have to create an "Oxycontin Step-up Kit", first 10s, then 20s, etc., up to 80 and 160. The 80s and 160s will croak those without opioid tolerance. I think you can't even get 180s with a script anymore. I see your point though, like in countries where the women go topless, the men are not completely infatuated with breasts.

Unfortunately, the 160 mg version is no longer made due to its popularity among abusers. Real smart, huh? Gee What could possibly replace 160mgs? Wait a minute, I could take twice as many 80mg pills! That way twice as many pills can be illegally diverted! Boy, that DEA really has it figured out! My previous post about going to the corner store for 160's and Ketamine was just using the extreme to make a point.
