Leg Cramps
      #123444 - 12/17/03 08:15 AM

I am on norco 7.5/325 for my endo and migraines, I do not take it everyday. I just came off of a hydro holiday I was on it for about 2 weeks, and I had no withdrawls except for going to the bathroom alot. Anyway I have noticed that when I bend a certain way of sit a certain way my upper legs are so painful they feel tight and they have that buring sensation almost as if I have been working out. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with their legs and leg cramps? I have gained weight since last year, I weigh 120lbs, maybe that is it, I am just not sure. Maybe I should take some vitamins or something to help does anyone have any suggestions on what is wrong with me or what I should take daily herbals/vitimins. I am 27 years old and I feel like I am 50.

Thanks

120 lbs - ack! I'm jealous - I can't remember when I was that slim!

Seriously though, if you haven't been taking hydro for 2 weeks, the leg cramps probably aren't due to that. Unil you can to see a physician, try increasing your potassium; bananas, lettuce, leafy greans. Health food stores probably sell supplements.

Endometriosis in itself can make you fatigued. I'm in the gyn business and that's about the most misunderstood condition there is. Everyone thinks it's just scar tissue, but it affects your hormonal levels too, making you tired or irritable. Hope you have a good gynecologist who knows how to treat this.

I wish you luck!

The burning sensation you describe may well be back related, as in a "pinched" nerve.
Just a guess.

The scar tissue in endio can cause upper back leg pain, somewhere I have the handout one Gyn gave me to explain why. If I find it I will pm you with the details. It could be something else so do follow above advice and pay attention to any other new symptoms.
