If this info had not came from my brother I would not have believed it!
My brother first used Ephy about 5 months ago, then their trouble started and he was not able to reorder. He called yesterday to see if they were back to normal and the CS told him the doctor would call him on 12/19. He figured like before it would not happen.
Needless to say he was stunned when yesterday afternoon he got a call from Ephy's NEW doctor! Dr. B***** !!!!!!!
He told my brother to fax his records today and he would do his consult. But because of the weather and his health, my brother couldn't go out today.
If this is the same "Dr. B*****" who was with the BHP outfit, then I would not recommend anyone use Ephy. I also noticed another thread that said " The doctor at Ephy is gone untill Jan. 7th". So before anyone faxes their records and ties up their credit cards, you better make sure what is going on.
Hope this helps.
I received a nice PM asking me to not post the doctors full name. Although I have had terrible experience with said doctor in the past.Out of respect for a fellow DB'er I edited his name.
Seems they have had a good experience with him since he came to work for Ephy. And the last thing I would want is to mess up anyone's help in getting pain relief. Also, maybe I did speak to soon. But as everyone who has been burned knows, this is a wound that does not heal fast, nor is it easy to forget.

Thanks for the heads up.
Not quite sure what this means for the future of ePhy. I can't imagine he brings anything but more scrutiny to the table.

I tried placing an order for the first time 12/16/03. Received email to fill out attached medical form. Faxed records I had. Called and was told they were backed up. Emailed 12/17 with no reply. Emailed 12/18 and got reply that Dr. left unexpectantly and wouldn't return til after the first of the year. The ironic thing about this is that I had ordered from BHP a few weeks ago with no problem, and when I called them back I was also told Dr. on vacation until after the first of the year.

I heard this also from another member. When he was at BHP, he was rude as he!!. they all were. I wonder if he got his license problems worked out. Perhaps BHP had problems, who knows. You can check out the status here. Pay particular attention to the first and third entries.

The Dr. that EPHY is using now, is not a doctor anyone has used before. He has never done telemedicine before.

I think you are right about him, because from what I remember BHP and their doctor are based in California. Well, Dr. B. is out of Florida. He is also friendly, or at least he was to me. In fact, I found him to be more pleasant than their old doctor.

BHP was based in Florida, even though their website made it seem like they were out of CA. I don't know if it's the same doc or not. He had a thick accent, but a lot of docs have them.

It's interesting -- I've gone on the AMA wesbite to check doc's backgrounds --when certain posters have listed the docs names. Many of the docs appear to have been educated outside the American system -- though they do residency of course in an US facility.
On OP is using a guy from Bolivia -- another from Mexico.

Just want to tell you all my little experience with ephy. I had used them, back in Sept I think. I got a call, this was at the beginning of dec. It was on a sat. I was uptown and not expecting it. It was the doctor from ephy saying you wanted a consult. I said no, not now I don't need one. He then asks me rudely "well why did you send your paperwork in?" I had sent it in three months earlier when I did a consult. I get an email from ephy just the other day, saying your records are over three years old and if you want to do a concult you need to send in updated records and it said that I refused a consult with the doctor, but I had never requested one at the time he called me. They also didn 't seem to happy with me. WEll, wtf!! First of all myrecords are from 4/03 and I explained why I didn't want the consult when the doc called. I hadn't even requested one and didn't have any money anyway. I also said they must be looking at someone else's records or something and I would fax them in again just to show them that my records are not 3 yrs old. I am still waitng for them to write me back about the records. But apparently they are kind of screwed up in the paperwork department. THey also got really snotty when they said that I refused a consult. I did post this a bit ago about getting a call from the doctor, It was under another Ephy thread. I didnt go into what it was though. It was just kind of weird, and then for them to git uppity with me about it really pissed me off. I don't think I want to use an op who has no idea whose paperwork is whose and just seems to be in disaray. Anywho, just thought I would let ya all know how wierd that was. It was also a doc with the last name that started with a "B" I can not even remember his name.
