Has anyone else receive an email like this. It is from I have never even heard of these people before. There is a place where you can submit which you would prefer.
What is the only way to obtain your FDA approved weight loss and pain meds from US licensed pharmacies and
physicians?
Due to recent legislation it is now necessary for you to physically see a licensed medical practitioner when ordering a prescription online. This will only be necessary on the inital consult for new patients. All follow-up orders and re-fills are performed 100% online.
In an effort to make this process as smooth as possible please indicate which service method you would prefer to use.
Please indicate the type of service you would prefer for your initial consult:
1. Have an affiliated physician visit you at your home or office.
2. Visit an affiliated medical clinic in your area that specializes in your symptoms (e.g. Pain, weight loss, sexual health, muscle relaxant Clinic)
3. None. I would prefer to visit my primary physician.
Thank you for participating in this survey. We will notify you as soon as the network and services are available in your area.

I haven't received it, but with all the nasty things going on with ops and the gov't right now you can be sure I would delete that email and never look back. Actually,(and I know I'm probably going ou on a limb with this statement) I would advise anybody who receives an email like this to just delete it. In reality, we really never know who's sending these types of emails out. I just feel as though it's better to play it safe than sorry..............
Again, it's all just my opinion-

Hi Y'all
I'm new here. I did not get this email, but I do know money
talks, and there is a lot money being made off us who use online ops I do think some folks are cooking something up. also there's a lot of compassionate folks out there.
(a lot of greedy folks too.) lets pray if this is so it will be something better.
GOD BLESS

Well spoken Zuez, and I couldn't agree more with the assesment.
I know it's unpopular with the folks who for one reason or another can not get ahold of original records........But my question has always been, why can't these folks go to a walk-in,get there condition documented, and move on from that point?
It's much cheaper, safer and ensure's,once again as zuez state's, the preserving of truly legitmate OP's who are doing their best to follow the spirit of the law?
That one always seems to baffle me.....
Anyway......well put zuez......no flak from me.

I think its spam in that I never, ever used that email addy for ordering from ANY OP. To narrow it down though, I believe email addys may have been collected & sold by/from TropicalRx. I checked my old "trash" email messages & there was a spam-ad from Tropical several months ago that I did open & clicked on out of curiousity but never ordered from. The only other trash messages were get rich quick schemes, offers to enlarge a non-existent body part of mine, & tons of porn spam.

Many websites and most that sell things, have scripts on their websites that gather info from all of their vistors. Unless you have a firewall, they generally get that info. They get your ISP name, your email addys you have, you IP, etc.
These places use the info for themselves for spam and sell the info to others to use for spam.
Here are a couple of places you can go to be scanned and see how much info websites can get from your personal PC. Some people are better protected than others.
Port scan and probes

On the above links I gave, if you go to this page it will tell you exactly which ports are visible or invisible.

I think I found an even better site that does more thorough type scans and tells you exactly what people can and can't see when ever you are on the net. It also tells you how to fix this stuff.
PC Flank's tests
There are several links there for different tests with descriptions of each test.

I agree with lovepink, I think TropicalRX harvested everyone that visited their site's IP number, and now sell mailing lists.. To send someone an email you don't neccisarily have to have their email you can send mass mailings with IP numbers.. Or possibly the people at Tropicalrx are looking at a new way to get into the ballgame.

I never used tropical but I received one.
I think they are just general spams to see WHO is really interested in buying online.
Before coming to DB, I probably would have clicked on just about anything steering me towards online pharmacies.

I got the same e-mail here, and I was a Tropical user myself, once. If found them kinda late in the game, and when I went back to them for another order, they had closed up shop. Pity, they weren't half bad, really. (Price not withstanding, I've since found other places just as reliable and much cheaper.) Got what I needed, at what I thought was a fair price, but was pretty stunned when they closed down so suddenly.
I sinply deleted the post as it came through my spam filter program (MailWasher....where would I be without it), and even after looking at it, I still deleted the post. There are a lot of places that have closed recently who are sending spam in the hopes you will use some untried OP. I tend to stay away from all of those.
Word of advice from someone who has been around a while. (Although not on this board.) If the URL contains a .biz anywhere in their URL, avoid like the plague. The vast majority are spams and will rip you off. Eventually OPs and OCS might use URL containing a .biz reference in them, but none of the reliable ones don't yet, so they are not worth the time it takes to even investigate them.

I asked a question about Xanax a while back on these boards and I got bombarded with email about ordering Xanax. I delete it all without even opening. Some of these people, at least are reading the boards and probably then selling lists.

Unless you provide your email address in your posts or in your profile, I can't see a connection between a post asking for Xanax sources & being bombarded with Xanax-related email.

We have satellite internet service. I visited a Tropical site and all email accounts that had ever been accessed on my computer have received spam about OP's. The accounts only accessed on other computers in the house did not. I did notice that some of them were not addressed to the account name/domain but someone else entirely. That would point to the ISP being targeted. I have not received any in the last week or two.
