Sending letter to pharmacy wise???

Hi all,

I have a question for you all, that maybe someone can help me out with. I have currently found a new OP that will start treatment for my medical problem this week. My question is this.. I have another OP that I've been using and still have refills left with that company. I don't want to be double dipping, so would sending a letter stating I've found other treatment and a request to discontinue the rest of my refills, be the right choice?? I don't know how to go about it, or if it's even necessary to do this, but I don't want my now new pharmacy to think I've been getting medication from another OP. Would simply not requesting the refills any longer be enough? Thanks in advance. =)

I have sent an e-mail to the new OP stating I would not accept re-fills from the old OP. That's all they wanted.
