Over the Counter in Ecuador???

Hi,
I am aUS citizen cuurently in Ecuador and I would love to stock up on my pain meds at a discount here if it is possible. Does anyone know anything abou tlaws governing this type of thing here? Can I get oxycontin over the counter? thanks in advance for any help...

I have no idea, but if I were Ecuador, I would go to a pharmacy and ask. I will assure you, Oxy will not be OTC.

Probabally not OTC, But I would imagine it would be easy to find a doc who is on the take and will write a script. Thats how it was for me in Mexico.

I went to Ecuador about two months ago and OXYCONTIN, OXYCODONE are not OTC but you can get codeine, like Tylenol #3, or without tylenol. I did not try anything else, hope this helps.
