I'm back, and of course, no real news. he said my orthopedic doc had suggested he look for seronegative sponyloarthropathy. Some kind of systemic inflammatory thing. Anyhow, they took about 10 gallons of blood to check for this and that, so I have to call back next week to see the results. I didn't get what I needed, but I did get a script for 90 motrin 800's and some PT. Of course, I was taking 4 advil anyway, but with the insurance, this is actually much cheaper. I'm hoping the physical therapy will help, but I'm not betting the ranch on it. I've done all the recommended stretching and whatnot, with ill results. But, we shall see!
Regarding a typo in my previous post: the tentative diagnosis is a type of seronegative spondyloarthropathy, not sponyloarthropathy as I had said. Specifically, he's looking at, perhaps, Ankylosing Spondylitis. Doesn't that sound fun!!!
Hugs all around, because I'm about to go soak in the tub, and I like that.
