Was shorted 18 pills out of #90 in my delivery this morning. Called AAAMWW customer service, and the lady with the accent said that she would take care of it promptly. She called back 10 minutes late and said that I would need to send the pills back to Lakeridge so they could make sure of the original count! Outrageous!! I have to suffer because Lakeridge screwed up their count and they are calling me a liar to boot! Here is Barry's response.
It's not that she was trying to insinuate that you were lieing, it's just that that is what the pharmacy has told us we have to do in a situation like that. There are some unscrupulous people and by no means am I calling you one, but the pharmacy just wants to cover their backs.
"When you had had the problem with National Scripts and the UPS theft, they did replace them correct? I can try contacting Lakeridge and see what I might be able to get done about the remaining pills, but I can't promise anything because they're rather strict about things like this."
Lakeridge and AAAMWW is at the top of my s*** list right now as I AM NOT sending back my meds for a recount (like the 2000 election). I'm just going to deal with having the 72 and write off using any OPs who use Lakeridge. Thanks for letting me vent.

Like you couldn't have gotten the correct amount and then take out 18 and send the bottle back. TDI shorted me 20 once and they sent it out overnight and didn't ask for the bottle back.

Barry's reply:
"Lakeridge is very uppity when it comes to medication, they are very by the book. If you do wish to lambaste Lakeridge it is your call, I can not tell you not to include us in the post because that isn't my decision but I hope we're not included. Reason being we're only passing along the information the pharmacy sent down to us in regards to the shortage, there's only so much pushing we can do to get them to send a script out."
My reply to Barry:
Well, I'll report, and the users can decide. If you can get me my missing meds, I hope Melody will let me alter the feedback and/or thread accordingly. I notice that I am getting messages that lend a great deal of credence to my story, and messages that reflect that other pharms have business practices superior to Lakeridge. I suggest you take that into account once you start rebuilding your business.

Opie,
i have had problems with Lakeridge in the past also. Barry was of no help to me either. They sent me a refill after i told them i was in the hospital and to not send it. I refused it, and sent it back to Lakeridge. Four days later i got a call from Lakeridge saying that they recieved empty bottles from me and i would not be credited. I spent alot of money on phone calls and emails, ect and never got my refund. Now, i am being told AAAMEDS is not going to honor my 3rd refill i was supposed to get. I have tried to straighten it out with Barry and all he does is try to defend his "honor" and tell me what a great guy he is, but is no help at all.
I used AAAMEDS for two years and its as if that didnt matter at all, they have become one of the worst ops out there by far.
I hope everyone learns from my mistakes and stays totally clear of this op.

Dixie...that cinches it. My opinion of Lakeridge, Barry, and AAAMWW is a rock bottom. I hope they all go away in short order. By the book my a**. All I'm asking for them to do is replace missing product, which every other pharmacy on the planet seems to have no problem doing.
By the way, my wife and I handle our business and customers as if the vast majority of them are honest people, which I really think the way it is. On the other hand, the parties mentioned above do business as if most of the people out there are liars and cheaters...a very bad way of doing business if you ask me. If you assume the former, the losses from the few cheats will way more than offset the gains you will make from treating people like they are good and trustworthy. Bite my tuchus, Lakeridge, AAAMWW, and Barry...you are a bad bunch of people.

Don't know if SWMG services your state or not, but you might want to check into them. They have an exclusive pharmacy and I think they are the best OP out there.

Well my goodness. I'm sure they've learned their lesson. Let this be a message to all OPs

Just a suggestion - but why don't all of you who were either shorted on meds or screwed out of refills simply do a chargeback? You can do this with relative ease. It's ridiculous! If I read one more post about what a 'stand up guy" Barry is I'm going to vomit! He is a business man interested in making money - nothing else. These sites are on a quick ride DOWN! Get your money back and move on. There are ops out there that actually respond and care about their patients. No one should have to deal with what all of you are dealing with. It's just not right.

All this commotion is why OPs are being shut down. The good and the "bad". Of course we expect what we pay for-I'm not discounting that-but we give all this information out on these boards about how we're going to "get back" at people and LE is just reading this and laughing. We're lucky we're getting ANY meds. Soon we'll have nothing and the days of the "missing pills" and charge-backs etc. will be nothing but a faint memory. We'll remember the "good old times" with longing and wish we had a bottle of pills-even if it's short some pills. Just my opinion. These OPs have put everything at risk-they (and the pharmacies) service hundreds of customers and we need to mellow out and think this over-we're Gonna Miss Them!!! Even Walmart pharmacy screws up and we don't tell everyone and do charge-backs!!!!

dixiechick-this is the first time I have seen on all your aaamww posts of late where you state that you refused an order and sent it back(maybe you posted it elswhere but I haven't seen it). All I have seen is your anger about not getting the 3rd refill. Why in the world would they send you the 3rd refill when you refused and sent back your previous order ? I know you asked them not to send it, but didn't it occur to you after you received it that you might need it later? It was already paid for ?!? You went to all the trouble of sending it back ?!? I assume it was the principle of the thing, right? How dare they send it when you asked them not to!
I received my 3rd refill, but of course I also kept the previous refill they sent.
I know there are some who have not received the 3rd refill. My bewilderment is on this particular incident only.
Sorry if this post angers you dixie, but there was clearly more to this story, and now it makes a little more sense.
If anybody supports me on this one, chime in. I'm sure I'm gonna need it soon !

Your post does not anger me, i am a bit ticked that you think there has to be more to the story than Barry just not honoring my refill. SInce you have to know, I was in the hospital with severe pneumonia when my second refill came. I tried to call CS to let them know that 1. i did not have the money to pay for the second refill, and 2. i could not take the meds because of the other medication i was on. I was never able to get through to customer service, nor able to get to a computer to PM Barry as i was in the hospital. My roommate brought the packages to the hospital and i called CS over and over until finally getting through to them only to have them tell me to call the pharmacy. I did that too and was instructed to refuse them and send them back if they had not been open, which they had not.
I did as i was told, and low and behold, when Lakeridge recieved them, they said they were empty. I know for a fact the meds were in there when i sent them back as they had that total tell tale rattle.
I went round and round, and was never given credit for them, i finally gave up and ate the $200 that i couldnt afford due to excessive hospital charges and no insurance.
This incident had nothing, and i REPEAT nothing to do with them honoring my third refill.
So, if there is anything else you would like to know about my personal life, please feel free to ask.
