Their website is still up, but I have not heard of anyone using them in months. I know they were unapealing because they only offered 1 refill and had a $15 charge per prescription but they might be a good backup source in these times of OP uncertainty. They always had good customer service and I don't remember having any problems with them. What pharmacy and doctor(s)are they using? If anyone knows anything about their recent performance I would appreciate the information greatly. Thanks,

The last time I used them, they required a porta-medic visit(another hundred bucks, and a really NOSY local nurse),and then, they asked me for MORE medical records b4 my next consult(oh,and they oh so nicely offered to acquire them, for a fee). That was the last time I used them(about 9 mos ago).So it cost me like 400 bucks for the consult, and ONE lousy refill. Thanks, but no thanks

they are just one of the worst
you get 1 refill and their CS is bad at best
they can't compete with the major OP's becasue of that fact
they were the first i used but think about it
would you rather spend 120 for a consult and get 2 refills
or 115 and get one and have a port-a-medic?
there just non-exsistent

I have been using them since June, 2002, and their CS is okay, they always answer their phone; "Amy" is one of the better ones......yes, they only give one refill but they seem to be pretty much reliable and consistent and seem to be well established, i.e., will be around for a while. Plus, they are in a state other than Florida (although they use FL pharmacies). Better not to have all your eggs in one basket, if you know what I mean.

I have an acquaintance who used YFD within the last 3 months and he decided to ask for 2 refills and he got them. He has been a patient there for about a year and was very pleased that they agreed to his request for 2 refills, what it's worth.

Hello all~
I am very happy with YFD. I've never had a problem with them. I agree their CS dept. could be a little more on the ball, but if you have your facts straight, there's no problem. For example, they DID ask me TWICE to have my portamed exam. All I did was tell them that I'd already had it, to check my records (that they have on file), and everything was cool. Also, the Dr. that treats me is extremely nice-always calls within 15 mins of appointed consult time, & actually stays on the phone with me for awhile! Her name is Dr. Sheila Soman. They are a little expensive, but I would much rather deal with an OP that is legit, than one who isn't.(This way I am actually saving $$$ cuz I don't need anxiety meds ) My next Consult won't be due until the end of the month, but I'm going to see if I can get 2 refills also..what the hey
Peace,
Julz

I just got off the phone with Dr. Soman from Yourfriendlydoc.com, and she had no problem giving me 2 refills of Hydro 10/325's. I guess they don't go out of their way to offer 2 refills (normally, you only get one refill #90), but if you just ask the Dr., as I just did, she said OK, not a problem.
Just an update...

Peace,

Been using them just as long and they are most certainly friendly and professional. Wouldn't even think of trying another op. They're low key, no "special offers", just what you would expect from a professional medical facility.
