There has been a lot of concern with the quality of hydro from BuyMeds. When I got them several months ago they were so weak that I thought they were A Scam.
Does anyone has recent experience with BuyMeds Hydro?

Never had a problem w/quality or quantity. Just expect anywhere from a 3-10 day turnaround time. They are really backed up right now...but coming through as usual!

I have only ordered brand name Norco from Buymeds. I remember when they were new, it was them and erx who were the no-records OP's. They were both using Pharmanet at the time. My, how times have changed....but anyway, their product has always been excellent.
Haven't used them for some time, but last time I did I noticed the only shipping option was Fedex 2-day? Don't understand that one...their service takes long enough as it is, would it kill them to offer me overnight?

My most recent order was for generic 10/325's. Can't recall which pharmacy off the top of my head. I have the bottle at home. But they were manufactured from Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. 3601 printed on one side, and a lower case "v" which looked more like a check mark than a "v" on the other. Strong and fresh. Very happy! Love BuyMeds!

As to the shipping, all they offer is 2Day. But as you know, FedEx darn-near always brings stuff the next day anyways, once it has shipped. I have never had my meds come on the second day when using this shipping method w/BuyMeds...or any other OP, for that matter. However, if you are somewhere rural or in the boon-docks...might take the full two days for FedEx to drive out there.
I know that BuyMeds take a few days to get you your stuff, but at least they come through! Can't really complain given our options lately. I am glad they are still around...and hope that they remain around for as long as possible.

I have only ever ordered brand Norco, and the quality has always been just as good as what you would get at your local pharmacy.
Last week I ordered on Monday, and received my meds on Friday. They changed their website last week (after being down for a while with technical problems). The "Live Help" is gone (they were always off-line anyway), and they now have "Free Shipping" on all orders. It is supposed to be 2 day Fedex, and mine came from 610 Pharmacy in Houston. (BTW - I never did receive a tracking number. In fact, they still show "Processing Payment" in my order status, and they haven't charged my credit card yet. Guess they really are busy!) I posted about this in another Buymeds thread - I guess they think the "Free Shipping" is supposed to make-up for the fact that they've dramatically increased their prices. In my previous orders, I got 60 Norco and 2 day shipping for $188.00 total. Last week, the same 60 Norco were $196.90, including the "free" shipping. That will be my last Buymeds order - they've just priced themselves out of the ballpark for me.
Just a curious little note - this afternoon I received a "courtesy" call from a "Customer Service Representative" at 610 Pharmacy. She just wanted to know if I was satisfied with their service, when did I receive my order, was it all intact, etc. (That's a first - for me, anyway!) She told me that they were just one of about 6 pharmacies that Buymeds is now using. She was very nice, said she was glad that I was pleased with their service, and wished me "Happy Holidays!" Wow - that's really a switch - customer service calling me! No matter - it was a nice touch.

I recently ordered generic hydro 7.5/500 and I am dissapointed with the quality, I seem to get little or no relief from this order and for the price it is a real bummer. Everyone else seems very pleased on the board though. I don't know if I got a bad batch, old or what. I had a friend who uses pain meds for degenerative disc disease and I gave her a few and she agreed with me.

Why do you guys still use buymeds? Since they now require medical records, isn't it better to go a cheaper OP?..Just wondering....

Considering how much they charge, the meds should be of good quality.
I just noticed that on their web site if you click on lortab it says that this medication is on back order and that you should allow two weeks for delivery. Yea Right, and they'll probably charge your cc and then shut their web site down again.

Where did it say it was backordered? I went there and didnt see that. I ordered Lortabs on Sunday and today its in the pharmacy waiting to be filled. No one has said anything about it being backordered.

I ordered Last night(10/15) and I never got a message saying 2 weeks back order.In fact my email said as usual "after 8pm check next day for tracking info."
I will get my meds Thursday or friday morning as usual with these guys.I'm a veteren with Buymed and have found them,at least for me, to be top of the line. Roxanne is right.They are very expensive but in a pinch they are good source to have.

Ordered 12/15 (yesterday) morning. By 6:00 p.m. status showed approved by Dr and Pharmacy. I expect delivery by Wednesday or Thursday. Have never had any problems with them ... By the way, the online help link that was there always said "offline", but on my last order I sent a message and received an instant reply anyway. I think it always said "offline". I haven't noticed that the link isn't there anymore. Actually, I think that their service is probably better than the past. I'll post if there are any delays in my delivery, but so far so good. They are indeed expensive. I'm in the process of setting up a YOD account so to save $$ when it's time for next refill.
Let's keep up the Buymeds experience thread and see where they go from here since all the new changes. I do have a feeling that they will continue to stay legit. By the way, personally never had any problems with quality either.

I ordered yesterday afternoon [12/15] and at 5:00pm I received a conf. of order and they already zapped my CC. No problem. Then I received an e-mail from one of their Drs. asking for a copy of my picture I.D. I faxed it back around 11:00 pm last not and my status still says in review and the pharmacy is waiting for Dr. This is my first order with them. Anyone else ever have to send I.D. ? Hoping my status changes soon....

My dad ordered on friday the 12th. RX was approved by the doctor and by the pharmacy by the end of the day. Tracking number became available the morning of monday the 15th. It went active that night. Only made it to memphis sort facility by noon today. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I guess 2-day may actually mean 2-days around the holidays.
Last month my dad got an oddly marked tablet which turned out to be vintage 10/325's, as mentioned above. He said they were as hard as rocks. I don't know if they are just compressed hard during formulation or if they somehow were old. They seemed to work for him, but most do.
He still uses buymeds because he is too lazy to get complete records (he has some) and he makes lots of money so the price doesn't really bother him.

Just to give you all an update on my Buymeds order:
ordered 12/15 @ 6:30 pm
Dr. Approved 12/16 @4:00 pm
Meds will ship tonight if pharmacy will fill them.
If they dont I will get them on Thurs 10/18 by 10:00am by Fedex.

Veteran Buymeds customer here and yes they had me send ID in to Dr's office. I placed a order 12/13 got my approvals 12/13 and meds showed up this morning 12/16 even though the status on the web never changed. they must be slow in web updating but I have found them to be good on quality but slow on shippment at times but always reliable

Brat- thanks for the heads up on the I.D., but I got another e-mail from the Dr. asking me to do the same thing as before. I re-faxed my I.D. around 2:00 and have had no update or change in status. Your post kinda makes me feel a little easier though. I guess its another night of waiting..
