Can anyone tell me of any OP that will accept ID/med records by email rather than by fax?
With the cold crappy weather here,and so many contagious flu carriers out there.And yes I have had my flu shot. I just think it is easier and more convenient plus cheaper. If an OP would allow me to scan, then email the info they need.
Try YOD, all faxes are automatically captured via a computer, therefore, an email transmission would be catured by the same computer. In fact, almost all of these guys (OP's) capture faxes with a computer terminal and then e-mail your records to the doctor for review, so I would guess that just about all of them will allow you to do. But, I know that YOD will allow it, so maybe you should start with them. Good luck.
Check out http://www.efax.com They give you a number you can both send and receive faxes with, then you use their software or website to view and send them.
