Hello,
I take .5mg xanax for anxiety, and have been purchasing 1mg tablets (cutting them in half) to save money. I would like to purchase Xanax bars to save even more money but I dont know if the Generic xanax 2mg comes in bar or tablet form. (the thought being that bars are relatively easily to split into fourths while a tablet is not).
Does anyone know?

Yes, the *majority* of the 2mg xanax are "bars" or "ladders". They are also scored so they break easily into 4 pieces.
I have seen a couple oversea generic versions which came in tablet form however this is not the norm.

Actually it comes in both, although the bars seem to be more prevalent in the US. I am sure someone else will chime in shortly as this is a very popular med. I quit taking it because of the SEVERE withdrawals when stopping/taking a break. If you haven't read the Xanax withdrawal thread you really should. I can relate to the anxiety problem. Wish you well.

To answer your question about the 2mg xanax (alprazolam).. 99% of the 2mg alprazolam comes in quarterd bars. The only exception that I know of on this one is Mylans 2mg (they are round tablets) but for the most part, all the other American makers of xanax (alprazolam) use the "Bar" "stick" "ladder" shape divided into 4 evenly .5mg segments.
My favorite all time shop for xan bars as I have said many times is www.XanaxUSA.com because of their speed and no records. I always get the 60 count of the 2mg bars which is 120mg of xanax per bottle. I know I have bragged on these people before, but if speed is an issue, they worth it.

Your advice is appreciated and noted. I am in a sticky situation in that Xanax not only eliminates my panic attacks, but it also eliminates my GERD (acid reflux)...making it a very attaractive treatment. (for those who are interested Dr shipko has a lot of info on Xanax/CCK/bile reflux relating to panic disorder and GERD http://www.algy.com/pdi/FAQ//carafate.html).
Of course I have no desire to become dependent on Xanax, so I must be extremely careful...

Can anyone tell me which op has 2 mg Xanax bars? I saw that XanaxUSA has them, but they seem rather expensive. It seems most OP's only sell 1 mg tablets.

if your going to use www.XanaxUSA.com for the 60 ct. 2mg xanax(alprazolam), BUY THE GENERIC... The generics they send are of excellent quality. And BTW, they only offer the 2mg in generic. If you can find a cheaper AMERICAN source for 2mg bars than XanaxUSA.com then please inform us all.

I've gotten the 2 mg. bars from both NWW and Midland MC, both good quality. Purepac is an excellent brand, they are yellow as opposed to white. I only got them one time though.

Are you saying this is a good price in general? or that this is a good price for an OP that doesn't need records?

Im in no way saying that they can even come close to NWW or a records clinic. But if you want to get a quick 60ct of 2mg bars with no questions asked by a US op, then they are the SHIZNIT.
