I guess now, after reading this thread, I know why I don't post much here at the Free Board. Heck, I don't do much posting anywhere, but like I said earlier, there are OPs that will do a consult and send you that first script without recs. You will need them for any refills though. I asked people to PM about these OPs, and boy did I ever get PMd. I've given out plenty of info to plenty of people, and not a one has come back to me to let me know if my info is correct or not. I may be giving bad advice here, but I wouldn't know. You see, I don't really know if these OPs are STILL carrying on that same tradition of letting you send recs in after that 1st consult, and nobody has told me any different so I can only assume that they ARE. I may be wrong though...
I agree with what everyone here is saying, on both sides of the coin. There is a distinct relationship between comments made here on DB about No-record OP's and the shutting down of these near Dinosaurs. But at the same time, this is a board to share information with everyone. I guess what I'm trying to say is from here on out, everyone should use common sense when making a post and if someone slips up in doing so, it should be politely brought to that persons attention, veterans and strangers alike. The original poster had no idea what she was about to step into by asking that, and I honestly feel that Limper wasn't trying to hurt her feelings with his reply. I mean, she got the the information she needed via PM, I know for a fact, and fortunately she found her records to use in the future. By the way, no one ever said that not talking about that subject was a rule at DB, but the other thread regarding this topic on BuyMeds last week got so out of control that it had to be deleted because it got downright U-G-L-Y! Can't we all just get along? I love you all!
