Hi everyone! I have finally managed to find my medical records in my move. One quick question:
Does anyone know which OP's offer Saturday Delivery and quick turnaround with the Consult? I would like to have a consult tomorrow (Friday) & receive my meds on Saturday.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hooray! I'm so glad you found your records. Now those doubters on the other thread can eat crow. I would try netpain.com Sometimes they'll put you right through to the doctor when you call. You might be able to fax the records tonight, so they're there first thing in the morning.
Good luck!

Yes I have never used them, but MedsViaWeb/Netpain (the Kenaday Group) - they are really the same business, just have several websites - sort of an OP 'chain' -
Even though I haven't used them they seem to be the fastest from posts that I have read. Most good OP's (I am not saying Netpain isn't one too) - You fill out online med questionnaire, payment info, personal profile, etc. You choose a range of consult times that you will be available for consultation via telephone, and you are given the fax# to fax your ID and pertinent medical records too.... (Remember they don't want a book of medical records, they want the few pages you can pull out that document your latest physical (they have to have your current vitals like blood pressure, etc in order to prescribe pain or anxiety meds) - and also at least a page that documents your pain complaint and gives some info about it. Doesn't have to show you were prescribed the same meds you are requesting, necessarily, you basically just need a recent physical and a written statement by the doc that verifies your painful condition and major complaints of pain.
Most people say that after they fill out info, put in CC#, and send records, they are usually called within an hour or two, or if they call and ask for a specific consult time, they are transferred directly to the doc and do the consult right there on the spot, which would mean meds next day. They may not be the best OP out there, but they are decent/legit/no ripoff and are probably the fastest. 24 Hours turn-around in most cases I have seen.
Other OP's may be better like YOD and FxMeds - but the process usually takes a little longer (most likely due to their popularity with the true pain people on these boards)- and it may take a day or two before they can squeeze you in for a telephone consultation. MedsViaWeb seems to be able to turn the whole thing around very fast. (Meds Via Web/Netpain - same thing) -
So I would agree.... They are your best bet, for a last minute consultation since you have records. Will almost guarantee that if you start the process tonight or Fri. early morning you will be able to receive meds by Saturday (assuming you are infact written a prescription, but since you have records to back up your condition, I don;t see why you would not be prescribed something) Good luck, take it easy.

One downside I should mention - (and there always is one with a good thing, isn't there.... ) -
Is that, althought very fast - from reports I have seen on medication prices - the pharmacy that MVW/NetPain used (Ken's Drugs) - is about the most expensive one out there in OP land. I believe people pay over $100 for #90 Hydro/APAP -
At YOD - I pay 87.80 for #120 Hydro/APAP 10/325!!!
But if you want FAST, try em out..... I have gotten a same day consult w/ YOD before as well, and 24 hour turn-around time, but that was lucky. They are usually pretty busy and you need to plan on at least 48 hours with them from faxing to receiving medication. But MVW seems to always pull off the 24 hour thing.
I myself will stick with YOD - they are the friendliest, most helpful, and understanding OP I have ever used. AND their pharmacy has cheaper prices (by far!) than any other pharmacy used by any other OP. I mean the prices are EXCELLENT at their pharm (Woody's) - But it all depends on your current needs. You need definite 24 hours turn-around so maybe Netpain would be good for you. NWW is also quite fast (norcoworldwide) but I dunno if that is true anymore these days because they have gotten a lot more popular. I am not sure how MVW/Netpain/Kenaday manage to do same day consults so consistently..... Must have several doctors or just very organized time schedules. But I can't bring myself to use them and pay the high medication prices, after being spoiled all year with YOD/Woodys.... They just can't be surpassed. Something to thnk about on your next consult, when you have more time to plan.
