I was scrolling through the US LIST section of DB and lo and behold - I spotted Ye Olde Meds World Wide! Wow, they were one of the Old Reliable OPs a few years back and I gave them a try. Here 'tis:
Filled out the on-line questionaire (short & sweet) on Thursday, December 4, at around 11am. Got a call later that day and spoke with a very nice lady, who set up my consult for the next day (Friday), at Noon. I called the doc and had the usual consult. I spoke with a man named Carlos, with an a Spanish accent; however, the bottle shows the doc as Sara V-----. The pharmacy is "Doctor's Choice" in Florida.
Received an e-mail on Saturday saying that my order had been processed and that I would receive another e-mail when shipped. Got the shipping e-mail on Monday with the FedEx tracking number and got meds in hand Tuesday morning.
Excellent quality Watson 10/550's, with 2 refills. Whole cost was $117.00.
Ideally, it would have been nice to get my meds on Saturday, but you all know how it is dealing with OPs on the weekends. No complaints here.
Hopefully, these guys will be around for a while, as they are as good as they used to be.
Do any of you guys remember why MWW was closed a few yeaars ago? Seems like I remember some kind of messy bust, or something...........
Anyway, they have my seal of approval.

Just a couple of questions. How many meds? Did 117 include the consult also or just the price of meds and shipping? Do they need records before the first consult or before refill? Thanks for any feedback.

The script was for 90 tabs. I had to fax in med records (an x-ray report) and a copy of my drivers' license. The consult was $105 and I think the shipping was $22.

my brother ordered consult this morning @ 7.35 am called them to check on it and they asked if he had faxed med records he stated he had ,she then told him to call back in 20 minutes for consult which he did and the dr ( female) was VERY in depth with why he needed meds for pain, asked him many questions was satisfied with his awnsers and prescribed him 90 hydro 10/500 with 2 refills.
he then called customer care and they told him it would ship today and would recieve friday.
these people seem to be very carefull about who and why you need meds ,they will not talk to you unless they have records in there possession
sounds like very lgit and safe place to recieve your needed meds.
his cost was 105$ for consult and 105.63 for the hydro+ shipping which was 2nd day fedex!

I used these guys about two years ago. I remember the Dr. calling me on a Saturday morning and asking me about a thousand questions. It was definitely the longest, most detailed and in depth consult I have ever had.
The Dr. reminded me of going to my local doc for pain meds. I thought that he was very belittling. After all that trouble, I only received #90 w/ one stinking refill. To say the least, I never used them again, and I never will use them again.
It sounds as though they haven't changed at all. If I want to play 20 questions with a Dr., I'll go to my local doc.

I dunno about this...wasn't this the place where Dr. G***s got busted? I thought they had gone out of business because they were told to shut down?
Someone correct me if I am wrong, and I hope I am.

Yawkaw, I think you're right. I feel like there's something weird here. It's like, they got busted (and who KNOWS where all those records went and to whom), were shut down and then Ka Boom, they're BACK.
Service and product are great, though.
Go figger and then tell me.........

I think you're both wrong, actually. *putting on flame armour*
Nationwide and Worldwide are the same company. (there is a thread about this from them somewhere on here where Marilyn explains the name change(s) and why that is) These folks actually post on this board (currently, there's a post about their holiday schedule and their concerns with your refills, etc.) and there is always someone at the other end of the line for friendly, timely (like two rings - no redial mania!) customer service. Marilyn and Kelly, are the best. They seem to really CARE about their customers! (Using the Search feature, you can find their posts and other posts where I've sang their praises) My consult was hardly 20 questions, but it was fairly detailed. It wasn't the "What do you want and how many?" consults I've had with other OPs. Dr. Hall was nice, detailed -- even a bit chatty --- but always kind and never condescending or abrupt. If you have questions, you can PM them here at DB too. The prices aren't bad either and there's a VIP discount too. I don't think you can ask for anything more than this from an OP!
My humble opinion,

As far as my consult experience with them that I described in another post on this thread, I thought that the doctor was condescending. It wasn't all the questions he asked that I was upset about, it was the was in which he treated me.
He treated me like all the local doctors have. He told me that staying on pain management long term was a bad idea, and that I should just go ahead and have the back surgery. He also made me feel very uncomfortable when I requested the three pills per day that I must take to manage my pain. He told me that he thought that was too many to be taking. He did end up prescribing the #90, but it reminded me of exactly the way in which I have been treated by my local doc.
The reason I started using OP's is to get away from that condescending attitude. Meds Nation Wide may be different now. Like I said, my last consult with them was almost two years ago, but I still don't have any desire to use them again.
If your looking for a new OP to use, don't go with them. The best and cheapest OP out there is Ephy by far.
