They do have good customer service, but, price for consult, meds and shipping add up to: consult=125.00, # 90 norco=107.00, overnight shipping=40.00. If you have the money to pay go for it, but after the 3 refills are up, you have to pay again for the consult.

The customer service I got from them was absolutely terrible when I used them. Maybe others faired better, but mine was a nightmare.

I am using them now and they are great, The best OP experience I have ever had!! My total was 100.00 for the consult and 122.00 (shipping included) for 90 10/500 hydro. Did not total to any more that I paid at NWW or YOD when I was using them and you have to factor in the 3 refills also!!

I reffered them to my friend while she decides which of the others to use. She sent in her information this morning, talked to the doctor and he prescibed her medications. They said they use UPS and that she should recieve them by morning. (tomorrow) Anybody have any encouraging words for her? (are they reputable etc.)

They are great!! She can track by going to the site and click on UPS tracking, they use your email as a reference # for UPS. It usually does not show up untill 7 or 8 pm.

So far her ups tracking number hasn't worked. Called and talked to Terrence and he said that they where shipped yesterday and should arrive today but nothing yet and no way to check. It is only 10am pst so no real worries yet. Time will tell. It is wierd not being able to check on the net.

How about calling the pharmacy. They should be able to tell you if a package for her was shipped out.

She did that and was told yesterday that as she was a new patient that they wouldn't have her in their system as of yet. That is when she called Terence and he put her on hold while he talked to the right pharmacy and found out that it had been shipped yesterday. The thing is, since she is brand new to the whole thing it has her really spooked. I told her that these boards are a great indicator of if an OP is any good or not and this site (medsvia) has a pretty good rep. She is going to wait until 1pm pacific and then call back. I am trying to convince her to just wait it out as these things take finess and patience. We will see what happens. I just got her to sign up here so she is I am sure reading everything. Any more positive reviews will help. Her name is Lovie (Hi lovie, what a name :P).

Update. First, thaks for those who pm'd me about this.
Second, her meds came today but they were the 10/325 when she had ordered the 10/500. Not a big deal but she is allergic to the yellow die in the 325's. I think its a shame because she would be recieving less apap but oh well. They are working on fixing it.
Her experience is as follows.
8:30pst faxed over records and talked with CS rep.
8:40 talked with Dr. Great guy as she says with genuine concern for her health. Lots of real helpful info on her condition and some treatment recs. Its funny how some gov official believe that there is no real medicine being practiced when as evidenced time and time again here (and by myself back when I used to use ops for different reasons) the medical care that I and others recieve is on a par if not better than what we recieve from our in person doctors. Sad thing. I don't blame the gov though. I do blame the shysters who run scam ops that write scripts with no information about who they are treating and then close with peoples money. Taking advantage of the sick is really sick.
1200 Told Meds would be shipped that day.
12:45 following day, meds recieved all accounted for.
All in all she is satisfied with the experience and I will update what happens with the re order of meds. So far the CS (*T*) has been great and they seem to be doing a solid job. Not without thier little glitches but then, all op's are having small glitches right now so I wouldn't say these are a major one and from what she said, they are right on fixing things. I'll let you know and for Lovie, who I know is reading this, take a deep breath, these things happen, take some benedryl and a yellow and relax out of pain for a bit. It will be better soon and you won't have to face that horrible doctor who made you cry every again.

I decided to try these guys as well since I finally got my records from hospital.
12/2/2003 I submit request for consult 9 am
12/2/2003 12pm I receive phone call from them and have my consult.
Dr precribes meds and I think all is well
12/2/2003 6pm I start getting paranoid about giving out my SS# and recall they never asked what kind of shipping. My account on website only has request for consult on it. No charge for meds.
12/3/2003 I call and talk to Nick whom with I did the consult with before Dr. He reassures me that my ss# is for my protection and my order was shipped 12/2 but they use UPS and since I live on West Coast I might not get it until 12/4
12/4/ 8am I check UPS tracking on website and nothing shows up so it says to call pharmacy, which I do and they inform me that they have no prescription for me. I call Medsviaweb and Nick isn't available but some other guy says " well your dr is in now I will ask him and find out whats going on and call you back" I have to go work which I do. I come home and hubby says no one called. I call Medsviaweb again and Nick has gone home for the day and the receptionist won't transfer me to customer care and instead gives me Michelles name and says to call in am and she will help me
Needless to say , this isn't the greatest experience I am new to this whole OP thing but I hope this isn't common practice. Anyways, I will keep you informed as to what happens in am.

If it doesn't work do a charge back right away on your CC and call it a day. Go to YOD as they are the best site on the web as far as I can tell. Although, I would bet by tomorrow you will either have your meds or will know why. I have to believe it is a glitch but I too am leary for you. I am in Cali as is my friend so when you wake up for work tomorrow at 5 or 6 am call them straight away. Tell them you are right at pulling the plug and you expect your meds today. Be nice to them as most of the time you are getting customer service people who are doing their best to help as much as they can and just let them know that if they dont have tracking info or can give you someone to talk to about your situation that can satisfy you that you will just cancel the charge and take your bus elsewhere.
Also, never underestimate the power of this board. Companies live and die by this place so make sure that they know that at the end of your kind efforts that if you aren't satisfied that you will come here and make certain that everyone knows what happened and why and that you will make it your mission to make sure that people understand what is going on with them. I think they will pull through and that they are just swamped now that all of the "tropicals and such" have gone under. NWW is a great site that never had any complaints until lately when the non record ops went under and now they too are having little complaints here and there. YOD even had a couple of little bugs too. Let us know what happens and I hope you have an answer soon.

My experience hasn't gotten any better. Those who recieved excellent customer service and actually received meds be grateful. I called at 7am pst this morning and this is the runaround I received. ( see above post for history)
7am pst.. transfered to Nick..didn't answer phone and mail box is full( has been for last 3 days)
7:01am Ask for Michelle as that was name I was given last night..get disconnected
7:02am Ask for Michelle and I am told she isn't in today and get transfered to Nick..who answers.
Nick didn't know I called the day before and is still standing by his comment the meds were shipped 12/2. He puts me on hold and after 15mins I get disconnected...again. I have to take kids to school and make quick run to store
8:30 am I call back and get Nick again. When I said it was me he didn't act like I had called this morning allready. I said, You put me on hold and I was disconnected for the 3rd time today! I said to him " Look I may be new to OP's but I am not new to CS, for pete's sake just tell me the truth as that is all I really want at this point." The story I now get is that the pharmacys fax isn't working and they are unsure of who got meds and who didn't. I told him, he probably should have told me that instead of the usual response " they were shipped" I am not the type of person who wants to be told what someone thinks I want to hear and I would much rather be told the truth. If he had told me on 12/2 that it would take a week for meds I would have been fine with that..instead of this best if kept off boards Best if kept off the board I have been fed the last few days. He transfers me to Customer Service..which is funny because I thought that is what he was. Unfortunately, I didn't get the guys name I was speaking with ( hindsight is 20/20 ) This new guy tells me that the reason the pharmacy didn't have my prescription is that they used 4 different ones and I probably called the wrong one. !(@*!_(@* I called the number listed on their site that specifically states : if you are unable to track package call the pharmacy at this number to verify..yada yada. IMHO they should list all 4 pharmacys if that is the case. Anyways, he says he will look into and call me back. I said " that is what I was told yesterday and no one called, please call me back" His reply " Of course I will call, I am in customer service that is my job" 5 hours later and no call~
All in all this company has jerked me around so much I am not sure what the heck is going on. I definately DO NOT recommended anyone using them. Again those of you who received meds and customer service, consider yourself lucky.

Wow Bathil,
That is certainly a horror story. I will say that I have had absolutely no problems with them, but it is my understanding from other members here that if there is a problem, Matt Keough, the pres.of Netpain/Medsviaweb, is quick to work it out for you. Do a search for his email addy here on the board and send one to him, he is sure to respond promptly and help you out. Come to think of it, I have been very lucky. I have never had single problem oredering from OP's in the past. Right now I'm 5 for 5, we'll see what the future holds. Actually it just came to me... I now realize that all my orders go smoothly because I am so persistant (or anal) whichever way you look at it! I always call or email them to make sure there is no foul ups. I know they don't like that(but we don't like getting bent over either), but I am always very polite and professional and that helps. Good luck Bathil.

Update
I called 12/08 and spoke with Nick yet again. I said " Hello, its ........ guess why I am calling? The guy from CS never called me back on friday. I am about to become a real witch if I don't get a straight answer from you, so please tell me whats going on . If not then I will simply cancel my order and take my business elsewhere" He said " ok let me put you on hold" I was like UM NO YOU DONT!. I know I may sound rude but my lord the run around I was given this week was atrocious. Long story short he said he faxed prescription to pharmacy and I would receive meds 12/09
This morning I did call pharmacy and she said yes it went out on 12/08 and I would receive today. I did receive them 12/09. Funny thing is my cc hasn't been charged yet nor have I ever received an email from these guys nor does my account on their website anything. Bottom line: they are either really busy and some people like myself fall through the cracks or they are horribly disorganized. Either way I would say save yourself the trouble and use YOD or SWMG like is recommended in so many other posts
I ordered 12/2
12/2 had consult
12/09 received

I said the same thing before. These guys were terrible to me. Treated me very poorly and screwed everything up almost every step of the way. Even on the refills. NWW is way way better. So is YOD.

I took the plunge had my consult within 8 hours. I had to call them the next day because I didn't receive any shipping notice, which I requested. I spoke with the C/S rep. he put me on hold and called the pharm. and found out the doc. hadn't sent over the script yet. I received my order the next morning, everything fine. It's time for my refill now so I'll keep you updated...
