Hello... And Questions
      #121547 - 12/09/03 04:25 PM

Hello all. Im a new member here. I have used a board similar to this one about two years ago (but it was not free in any sense of the word), and after perusing this site for a couple days, I am positive it will be helpful.

I have chronic back pain from an injury suffered about 4 years ago. Im sure you all know the trials and tribulations of dealing with the pain (both physically and with the *Best if kept off the board* dealt out by DR's by way of care and compassion), so I won't go into details. It would just echo the stories of many of the members here. I recently (Nov. 10) had what I call an "episode" where the injury (which never healed correctly or at all) flares up and causes a great deal of long lasting pain, been a month so far. I have as of last January stopped going to the pain clinic due to their prescribe first, heal never attitude. However, now that I'm dealing with this again, I went to a couple docs, (ER x 2 included) in search of relief. Every single time this is what I got "You will have to go to the pain clinic since they have treated you in the past, Im sorry but I cannot prescribe anything more than Skelaxin or an equivelant). Well, needless to say, that does not work. So Im back in the OP game and have found DB very very helpful. My pain clinic refuses to dispense anything without a face to face with the DR who cannot see me until Jan 19th (bye bye Christmas) even tho he knows me and my situation.

Im hoping someone here can point me to the safest OP that does not require records. For the simple fact that I will have to wait 10-14 days for them to be prepared (I have allready ordered them). I cannot take it anymore as I have dealt with this most recent "episode" for a month now, Im ready to ******* kill someone. Sorry.

Anyone have any OP's that are trustworthy that I can arrange a conuslt with within the next couple days? I look forward to becoming an active member and helping as much as I can, but right now I have only one thing I can think of, and thats the pain I'm enduring because of these people who call themselves "healers".

Thanks in advance...

the pain riddled, ssjTiamat

Hello & Welcome! I am sorry that you are suffering so; I hope you find relief for your pain asap. I would not recommend any site that does not require med records, but this is just my opinion. Most sites that require med records ask for them to be anywhere from 1 -2 years old. If I were you, I would call the Pain Clinic that's been treating you & ask for a copy of your records. You DO legally have a right to them- they may charge you for the copies, but it usually isn't all that much,(if they DO charge), maybe around $25.00 more or less. I believe they charge per page. There are some really good, legitimate sites where your needs will be met & you also won't have to worry about getting ripped off. Check out the US list and feedback.

Peace,
Julz

OK, first of, WELCOME!! You have come to the right place. In a bind, I know BuyMeds can be used without records, but they are pricey, and offer no refills. I would go to the pain clinic in person and wait while they copied my charts. Then immediately fill out the paperwork for YourOnlineDoctor and set up a consultation. I am ready for my 3rd consult with them and love them. I have never had a problem getting charts, even if you just are able to get your most recent charts(depending on what they keep in the office) while I wait.

Welcome, If I were you, this is what I would do... Call or email NorcoWorldwide, and set up a doctors consult. If your approved they will fill your first prescription, and put a hold on the last two refills until they recieve your med records. It's easy. Good Luck
