apainclinic.com
      #119364 - 11/30/03 11:56 AM

I just noticed today that apainclinic.com is advertising on the DB site. I have not seen them pop up here before but could have missed it. I ordered a consult with them on 11/18 and was called by the Dr. on 11/20 with meds approved. I expected to hear something by e-mail that they had shipped. Their site says that they will fax to the pharmacy next day and ship overnight if ordered. I have nothing from them since and they are not answereing e-mails. I don't know what else to do with them now since there are no phone numbers listed. Since I did have the phone consult with the Dr. I can't even dispute the charge for that. Has anyone had the Dr. call and never receive any meds? That 5 minute conversation was not worth $120.

I'm sorry I can't help you with your meds problem (although I do believe a chargeback is appropriate once you've exhausted all other means of trying to obtain your meds) but no, the apainclinic banner ad isn't new...I've seen it for quite awhile here.

Good luck!

Absolutely a charge back is appropriate. Tell your credit card company that the company acted fraudulently. They did not do what was part of THEIR obligation. If you don't act these companies will continue to steal peoples money until something is done.

Good luck.

This isn't the place Barry from 1stmeds was sending people while he "reorganized" his operation, is it? It sounds awful familiar......

I had hoped that after the holiday apainclinic.com might catch up and finally respond today but no luck yet. I wonder how long I should wait, my Dr. consult was 10 days ago. Please let me know if anyone hears from them.

Did you try calling the pharmacy? I seem to remember them using St. Peter's Apothecary, but I could be wrong about that. Check the Comprehensive Domestic OP List for the pharmacy and phone number.

I finally e-mailed the pharmacy they list and got a response. Apothecary said they had not received any Rx from them in two weeks and apainclinic.com had not been responding to their e-mails either. Today I had an e-mail from apainclinic telling me they had been closed for the Holidays and asking if I had received my meds. Another e-mail told me they were sorry for the delay and would resubmit my information. I sure hope this is not another run around. I am in the middle of disputing the consult fee to 1stmeds.com with my cc and it is no fun. Did anyone else hear from apainclinic yesterday?

When I used apainclinic.com 2 weeks ago, my script was sent to TDI. Hope this helps.

Gatorade, I do not know what TDI means. Did you have a telephone consult and receive meds? My consult was 11 days ago and no meds sent yet.
Thanks, Lilly

Barry is from '1stmeds' ? When I emailed him and asked him why I was ripped off, he said he didn't have anything to do with them.

After the e-mail yesterday from them saying they were resubmitting my Rx and info I e-mailed Apothecary, that is the pharmacy that responds with their prices. They say that apainclinic.com has not sent them any Rx in over two weeks and they think they are using someone else. I check my cc online and have not been charged for meds so I know no Rx has been sent through a pharmacy. Can someone tell me what TDI is? And, have others received meds from this site?
Thanks folks, Lilly

Lilly99,

TDI is a pharmacy based out of Pennsylvania (sp?). From what I hear, they are pretty good about filling and shipping scripts. Actually, I think I got a RX from them a couple months ago (USpharmacyRX was using them I think), and they were pretty speedy and the meds were of good quality.

Hope that helps,
LordBradass

TDI pharmacy is in pennsylvania and they are an ok pharmacy. I've had good and bad experiences with them. They have a website www.tdipharmacy.com, but it won't help much unless you have ordered with them before. Here is there info:

I am really getting discouraged with these folks. My phone consult with the Dr. was two weeks ago today with no meds sent, no charge for meds on my cc and no response to e-mail since Dec. 1. Another member had a consult on 11/26 and received meds on 12/2 so they must still be doing business. What is one to do?

Boy do I get mad every time I log on and see apainclinic.com advertised on this board. They have my money for the consult over two weeks ago, no meds sent or charged to my cc, they do not answer any e-mail. I send one each day. I finally sent a fax to them. No response. I called TDI pharmacy, who they use now. They would not help me, they did give me another fax number, I sent another fax to that. When these places have no customer service phone number and do not respond to the e-mails, you are stuck. Next step is to dispute the charge. This one will be my third OP to dispute in a month.

I agree lilly. I mean, as these places were closing and such I kept seeing the mods putting them up on the boards with their latest rip off to try and take our money one last time. I don't blame the board or the mods though. These companies pay to have their sites and info put up here and if the pay the mods have to keep to their end of the agreement. That is why they let us the poster come in and tell it how it is.

I hate what you are going through and hope you get it worked out. I did something with my CC company. I called them and told them that I, due to my med insurance being gone and until I get a new policy will be ordering meds from an online doctor. I asked them if they would be able to make a note on my account and hold sending payment until they heard from me. It didn't quite work that way but my rep at the CC company instantly put through two charge backs and it saved me some money when I was getting ripped off. They also were aware and didn't allow me to be charged a record 6 times when NWW's credit company went bonkers. I know this doesn't help you but I thought I would share it for future reference. I keep a positive amount of money on my CC company (over $1k in the plus side) (AE) and it gets me favorable treatement but they say that as long as you are in good standing with them they will always provide the same service. Just a heads up.

Hey fellow drugbuyers!! I just had a conversation with the owner of apainclinic.com and he asked me to print this letter he had sent to drugbuyers to avoid any further confusion.

Apparently, our problems seemed to come from the dreaded change of ownership!!!

Anyway, here it is:

Dear Drugbuyers,

Please update our profile. We are the new owners of aPainClinic.com
We are offering 10% discount to VIP Drugbuyers members. We offer doctor consultations for pain management, anxiety/stress, weight
loss & more. Overnight AM Express delivery available. We use www.TDIPharmacy.com
and previously www.Apothesys.com
We accept all major credit cards and online checks (must wait for checks to
clear, up to 2 weeks thru PaySystems). COD Delivery is an available option for
prescriptions.
We ask up to 1 week to expidite the order but most orders are received,
start to finish, in 3 business days.

PLEASE NOTE: We are in no way affiliated with the previous website owners,
Dr. Franks, St. Peter's Pharmacy and have no record prior to transfer of
ownership in 11/03. Any of the previous owner clients can contact St. Peters
Pharmacy for refills.

We appreciate your members and simply ask that our physician information not
be passed publicly thru the forums. We respect our physician's privacy and
want to provide speedy service for your members.

thank you,
management team
aPainClinic.com

Hope this helps anyone that has had problems!!
PS I am not a shill, just a formerly unhappy customer who was looking for some answers and got them!

Well, I got a reply to all those e-mails today. They explained about the problems with the change of ownership and all that and told me that my Rx was faxed over to TDI today for overnignt/Sat. delivery. TDI sent me an e-mail that said "if we receive your Rx it will ship on 12/16".
I had all but given up on them.
Thanks all for your support.

After waiting all this time for them to do something for me I was happy to get a message Friday saying they had just faxed my Rx to TDI for overnight/Sat delivery. Of course, I received no delivery and my cc has yet to be charged for any meds. The weird thing was just after apainclinic.com sent me that message, TDI pharmacy sent an e-mail saying "if they received my Rx it would ship on 12/16". That made no sense to me, 10 days to ship for an overnight order? What do you folks make of this?
