Ok so I know that everybody is slowing down, UPS and Fedex are swamped with holiday packages, etc. But this one is kind of getting on my nerves.
If somebody else posted this complaint, I'd probably be the first to say "be patient". And this is small potatoes compared to what many people endure.
I placed an order and paid for it with a credit card on November 14. On November 20 I got an e mail telling me my package had shipped, including a UPS tracking #. That was 14 days ago, and the package has still not been scanned into the sytem yet. When I do a track on the UPS website it says "billing information recieved" but the actual package has not been scanned or entered the system. It has very certainly NOT been shipped.
I have sent two polite e mails asking for an explanation, or an actual ship date, and I have gotten two polite e mails in response telling me they are checking into it. I know there's probably not much more they can do about this, and I know that sending several e mails a day demanding action (it's SO tempting!) would do absoutely no good at all.
You know if they hadnt sent me the bogus tracking # two weeks ago, I would still be waiting patiently not counting the days. I know these things can take time. But that darned tracking number has me checking the UPS site several times a day to see if it's been scanned in yet. This is REALLY AGGRAVATING!
I guess I'm just blowing off steam. Thanks for listening!

I'm really sorry. I totally understand what you mean about checking the tracking. I start to get anxious if my packages don't get scanned by 6:00 pm. Is there a number you can call to talk to someone? Good luck.

Did you call UPS? I bet you did but I was just curious. Its just that I had a simmilar thing happen and I told them it was an order for Meds and I had paid for overnight. I told them that without the meds I could end up in the hospital and asked if they had picked up the package. They told me they would look and then they called and had found it. I told them that I HAD to have it because as I had said, I would end up in serious medical condition without it. I was told that they have a different status for meds and that they would "get on it". They did as the package arrived the next day. Just a thought.

Yes, thanks, 14stones I did try that. The very nice UPS CS rep told me that my tracking number had been used only for billing purposes, but the package it is (or will be) assigned to has not entered the shipping pipeline. It has neither been picked up, nor dropped off, nor scanned.
Evidently whoever is filling this particular order for the medicine-gallery people kind of jumped the gun by giving the package a tracking number at least two weeks or more prior to actually shipping the darn thing. Fat lot of good a dormant tracking # does.
And all the medicine gallery CS reps will say is "We have requested shipment confirmation from the pharmacy" on Nov 25, and on Dec 1 they said "We are requesting shipping verification from the pharmacy at this time". That's it, that's as close as I get to an explanation.
By the way, 14stones, I had a similar experience to the one you just described, a couple of years ago, only it was with a Fedex package. Where I live part of the year is a rural zone and there is no Saturday Fedex option. I had ordered some medication from a place called Safewebmeds, and once I had the airbill # I called fedex to get an estimated delivery time. When they heard the package contained meds the offered to make a special run just for my package to get it to me on saturday!
When the package arrived it sported a sticker that said "URGENT: PRESRIPTION MEDICATION". I thanked the driver for his extra effort, but I didn't mention that the "URGENT MEDS" in the package were Viagra!

Wow. I'm having the exact same problem with MG. 3wks. Tracking # says billing info recieved. What's going on. I'm new to this. Does this delay often happen? Haven't contacted them. Maybe a prob with the pharm. Let us know if it goes thru, I'll do same.
