If you had to choose which would you use? I have read "everything" on both and was kind of looking for a little bit of insight. Just curious. I am being asked to recommend one to freind recovering from very serious injury and want to get it right. Thanks.

I have dealt with YOD and not Midland. As far as I can see YOD is flawless (even better for VIP's.) I am startingto have issues (minor so far but mounting) with Woody,s. Have been told that there may be an alternative pharmacy to Woody's. So you might check that out.

What kind of mounting problems with woodys, if you follow the rules, refill procedures ect. and who is saying there is another pharmacy for YOD, what pharmacy

Like I said, mostly minor. Last refill the sent a sealed jar of 100 10/500 hydro. My rx is for 120. They did send the extra 20 shipped free but it was mostly by luck that I realized the bottle only had 100. That order also should have been filled on a Tuesday for delivery on a Wednesday. They emailed that it would be shipped for delivery on Friday. It actually came on Thursday when I was out of town and not able to receive. At times I order COD and since I'm on Social Security my funds are closely budgeted so it really helps to know when it will really arrive. I ordered a refill yesterday for 2nd day delivery COD that should arrive tomorrow. Order was called in early enough to be shipped yesterday but have not gotten a tracking number or confirmation of shipment even after 2 emails today. Don't know if I need to have my money order ready at 9:30 tomorrow or not. Again this is all minor stuff compared to what others go through with far worse ops and pharmacies but they just seem to be slipping a little each order.
I would not leave YOD over any of this but if given the oppertunity to try a pharmacy that may be a little less busy I might give them a shot. I can't remember the name of the pharmacy that Kathy mentioned as an alternative but I did Email their manager and he seemed eager to take on more business and at least sounded like he wanted to be competative with Woodys in price and CS.

Go to ups and click on ref. # tracking and put your last name and the zip it is going to, make sure you put the zip in toward the bottom also

I have used the alternative reference before but its not working in this case.
I'm sorry to have changed the direction of this thread. I did't mean for it to turn into a rant on Woodys. They have done a great job in the past and are still one ofthe best pharmacies I have used. The original thought for this thread was YOD or Midland. I would still go with YOD even with this minor stuff with the pharmacy.
Addend em: Called Woodys early this morning. CS person said pkg had shipped Monday and would arrive today (Wednesday.) She gave me a working tracking number and I does look like it will arrive sometime today. Reference tracking still does not work. The real weird thing is neither the CS person or UPS office thinks that this is a COD order??? CS at Woody's could not tell me how much the money order needs to be for UPS and thinks there is "no balance due???" Why am I complaining???

Definately YOD and Woody's, although I think that they are sliding a little, only because of all the FL. Best if kept off the board and new patients and business they are picking up.
Never had one problem, one complaint, in the whole 8 months or so I used them.

I have never used Midland, but I have used their pharmacy, Bi-Wise. Other people seem to like them, but I don't- they have sent me the wrong tracking number on several occasions, and once claimed they were "out of medicine." Out of medicine? I ordered Norco from NWW back when they used Bi-Wise, I cannot believe they ran out of Norco, possibly the most popular medication to order from an OP (and if not, one of the top 3).
To me, a non-working tracking number is a big deal, and after that happened to me 3 (possibly 4) times, I stopped using any OP that used Bi-Wise.
YOD I have been happy with, and Woody's has been reliable for me. My only complaint (and this is minor) is that they use UPS, I greatly prefer Fedex because the UPS hub in my area is run by idiots. That is certainly not the case everywhere, and UPS is a great company otherwise. UPS also doesn't offer tech support late at night, unlike Fedex which is 24 hours.
Again, these are mostly minor issues, I'm just mentioning them to make you aware- I could come up with a complaint for any OP. YOD/Woody's is a great company, I have heard good things about Midland, and many other people do like Bi-Wise.
Just my 2 cents.

Actually, Midland doesn't use Bi-Wise anymore. They use a pharmacy called TDS. I had to call them once and they are very responsive and friendly. Their prices are good too!

Hi I just had a consult with Midland and the dr. was very nice and responsive. He seemed very caring. I also thought the pharmacy would be TDS I even called them about a question I had and the lady told me they have not been a pharmacy in a long time and they were not Midland's pharmacy. So I called Midland and got the number to the pharmacy and it is different I think the man answered the phone saying Drug shop. He was also very nice an agreed to send out meds COD.

That's what TDS stands for. (The Drug Shoppe) I just didn't want to spell it out in black and white, but oh well. I don't think it's any great secret.

I live in Ca, and have used Midland. They used to not serve Ca, but changed recently. I also have used YOD, and have received excellent service from both. I used YOD when they had a 3 refill special going on.
From my personal experience, it's a toss-up between the two. No problems whatsoever with either.
