Re: NWW Tracking Question [Re: LordBA]

Lord, I am not sure, because I don't know their policies, but after this experience, they may very well be open Friday, or they may say, "No, we want some time too." I really don't know, and after this post:
Quote:

Right after I posted my last post...I checked my tracking number one more time before signing off. It stated that the package was picked up at 3pm in pittsburg by fedex. So I guess the girl over at NWW was telling me the truth. Well good luck to all.

I am thinking they are sending a few trucks to handle the parcels. This is a good sign that they are moving along (I feel for them right now; their poor feet; NWWs poor ears and fingers! So they are trying!!
This also makes me unhappy. Because this is legitimately needed and paid for, but also a lot of pick-ups, read, attention. , Please look out for us; we are doing our best, help us get thru this most important month for so many of us, please !!!
So I swing between positive and negative today in my security about my meds. Thank Goodness we have all been posting a lot here, as using the board as the designers wished, instead of just calling up FEDEX twenty million times. Because it is truly amazing the amount of attention we are getting lately with the wrong intentions. Do I make myself clear as far as be prepared? I am not and I am scared.

Even though I am using the wrong forum, Firefairy, I want to say Welcome to the board! I can tell already you have a really considerate attitude and think all sides through. Some days that is the only thing that helps one....

As for me I am posting at this time my no. has not been picked up.

I'll be darned.. Mine is working too!! I actually can't believe it because I could just feel this problem being one of those kind that stretches from one day to the next and the next and the next. Oh and it does have the correct hometown too..Bonus. I had hear about some poor guy that they sent his to the wrong state and can't get his now. What an awful situation that must be. Ok has anyone done a weather check for Pittsburgh?? Just so we know? Never know about that east coast weather. I had one a day or two late due to that before.

here is a link for the weather in Pa.
http://msnbc.com/news/wea_front.asp?tab=oth&accid=USPA1290
If anyone wishes, they can do a weather search for the particular sorting hub city/state that their FEDEX area uses and it will come up just like that. I know because I just did it.
I hope this helps! I am thinking of everything too, now!!!!!
AAAAHHHHHH! Run, it's GODZILLLLLLLLLLLA!!!!
I sincerely hope I do not live to be ninety. Too many contiengencies !!!

Thanks Pretty. These situations are so much easier to get through when we have so many people going through the same thing. Because I know it's the worst when you're alone and not getting your meds from an OP.

Just home from work (I made it thru the day with a little help from a friend) and I see my tracking number is now working too.
Finally. What a ride this has been. I won't be completely "over this" until my parcel is delivered, however.

Someone posted earlier that these are the times where we have to just "let go and let God" (paraphrasing). I'm not a religious person by any means, but I had to stop focusing on it myself and just move on for the day. There was nothing I could do. I wasn't in W/D or hurting, as I got a loan from a friend and that absolutely helped of course. It's advise better taken when not in agony.

Best wishes to everyone. You all helped me today.

Ok. I'm calm now. I got home last night and vowed not to get on the computer and just not stress about this....whatever happens, happens. Then, this morning, I open an email from NWW saying "pharmacy was backed up...it will be filled shortly"....huh? Well I started to get mad and then decided to check the NWW website....hurray! A working tracking number and a delivery date of today! Whew. Was it worth all this...I'm not sure. It's hard when your first experience w/ a place is this difficult and time-consuming. But at least my ordeal has an end. Glad to see most of you got your working numbers too. Take care.

My refill date is for the 8th of December and they moved it up a day to the 9th, so I will wait it out and not call or bother them and hope I get my meds in time, but I won't count me chickens until they hatch

Last post from me on this thread, I promise (well, I'll TRY, anyway). Fed ex pack just arrived. All is as it should be. It was not a fun experience, but I have to give St. Pete's credit for getting so many orders out. My biggest problem through all of this was the lack of communication. NWW could have saved themselves and all of us a LOT of hassle if they just sent out updates as to what was going on. Anyway, I'm not in their shoes, so I don't know how difficult things have been for them. I just think there may have been a much better way to handle all of this. Hope you all have your correct meds in hand today!!!

Still waiting on mine..hoping nothing else goes wrong. I paid for the $28 delivery though, by 3pm. Just ran out of my Ultracet I used for the past week, so hopefully all will arrive soon and intact.

I had a great experience with them. Ordered consult Wednesday before Thanksgiving, scheduled for that Friday. Extensive consult, but 7.5/750's ordered. Monday I got tracking number, but not valid until Tuesday. Package picked up from Pittsburgh Tuesday from Fed-Ex (2nd day air) and arrived 3000 miles away this morning (next day). Even had a total count of 91. I love this OP... sorry for those who have had problems, but with the holiday and high number of orders, it's the smoothest transaction I've had.

I know it's only one vote, but I HIGHLY recommend NWW!
