i looked and found that there wasn't really a good post for YOD out there where my question would actually get looked at, as most of them are 5 pages back. i figured i'd start one of my own...
so i scheduled my second consult with YOD since i had a great experience with them the first time (#120 can't be beat ) after i had my consultation, the doc mentioned that i was a little early time-wise for my first refill, but that she'd send this over to the pharmacy and have them fill it when its time. she said it would be available around dec 1. i noticed on my cc that the consult had been charged on nov. 18 and my meds were charged on nov 26. with thursday being the holiday and the fact that i can't receive them until the 1st, when should i expect to recieve my refill? i know that YOD doesnt send out tracking numbers, but i have used the reference number in the past. however, i typed it in and it isn't coming up at ups. i would imagine that my card would get charded for the meds once the pharmacy looks at it, but i thought it would have been shipped by now. any thoughts? im not all that familiar with their shipping policy or as to when they charge my card....when they are shipped? or filled? or when they get around to it?
any help would be appreciated! YOD's the best!

I would call Woody's monday, since you have already received shipments from them. Perhaps your refill slipped out a little early, if you got charged from Woody's on the 26th..........
Perhaps Dec. 1st was the receive date???
Check your bottle, should have their phone # on there....I have used them for a long time, and they are always nice on the phone.

@ YOD, you can call in a refill per the refill date listed on your container. That's when you are eligible for it, not before. You'll receive your prescription either next day or 2 days later depending what delivery service you choose. Here is a quote from Kathy form this thread: refilll rules
Quote:
The bottle says this: "refillable on ..." This means exactly that, it does not mean you can receive it on that date. Refillable is the date the pharmacy can refill the prescription.
However, one important issue: Everyone is given a few days to allow for shipping and that is why any pharmacy, not just woody's allows some days early. I think that is what people may get confused about. If you get a 30 day supply, it must last 30 days, if you received a 25 day supply, it needs to last 25 days HOWEVER, it is a courtesy and needed allowance for a few days early for shipping only reasons.
Please the date on the bottle is for conveniance only so that there are no questions. But, I think the refillable issues should not be confusing. Woody's went through this extra work on their labeling to make it easier on our patients so there would be no counting involved;-)

I've been told by a rep. at Woody's that the date on the bottle is indicative of the date you can call in your refill. I called today (it's been 4 days past that date on the bottle) and didn't expect a live person, just perhaps a machine, and was told to leave my refill request on an e-mail instead of calling it in. I'm not sure if they've been inundated with calls and this is the reason why, but it does seem to be a good system.
If they've told you that Dec. 1st would be the time you could receive your refill, I'm almost sure they're holding it at the pharmacy until that time. But as was mentioned, you can always call to confirm this information (last time I called for a refill, they seemed so busy that they hung up on me before I could give them my information, but I'm not saying this in a contradictory way, just that it's good that they've become more automated - saves them time I would imagine).

Well,
I really cannot see them charging your card, then holding it at the pharmacy. It may very well be on it's way. I would call them.

Let us know how this works out for you - I'm about to schedule my second consult with YOD, and was wondering the same thing:
when will they forward to the pharmacy, etc.

Well yesterday I sent YOD and Woody's an email asking them what I should expect. I wasn't able to pull anything up in UPS except someone else that happened to have the same reference number (which worried me at first by the way) I got an email back from YOD saying that I should call the pharmacy today as they are having internet problems. (FYI)However, much to my delight, there was a lovely UPS package sitting on my desk this AM (8:00 AM to be exact )
So I entered the tracking number on the package and found out that it was delivered on the 28th! I didn't even know. I am glad it came, but I guess its a little frustrating that the reference number approach isn't always accurate. We had off of work on Friday, but apparently there was someone here that day, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have known that it was even delivered!!
So to summorize, my CC was charged for the meds on the 26th and was delivered on the 28th. I had overnight delivery selected, but since it was Thanksgiving, it arrived the next day. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions! YAY!

I have a question - it sounds as though Woody's has implemented a new refill policy since my last one, which was about 2 weeks ago. I would always just call the number on the bottle and talk to someone at the pharmacy to order my refill.
Do they now do it via email? And how is that working? I think the Woody's/YOD combo is the best around, but want to have a heads up if there are any changes, so I can anticipate them and not end up calling them if that's not how they do it anymore.
Thanks!

You can either call or email them . They are good about answering emails and getting it out just as if you had called them.
