I had three small benzo shipments "90 tabs each" seized in a two week span, all from the same supplier.
I got one actual customs letter for one shipment, and two packages that had been ripped open and the contents replaced with customs notices.
The really WEIRD thing is I have since received two small packages of benzos that have Also been ripped open and searched but the contents were Not confiscated but sent along to my home address.
There is no doubting that the packages were ripped open, thoroughly searched, taped back together and sent along despite their obvious contents.
What gives?
Anyone have a similar experience?
Peace

It seems to be the customs agent that is opening your parcel. I have had seizures and the parcels were taped back together and sent to my home. I have also had parcels that were obvioulsy opened searched and taped shut, with meds inside. Of my last 10 orders I think at least 2 were opened and taped and contents were not removed. One time they confiscated 50 controlled pills, but then let go an order with 300. Makes no sense.

Were the packages that were searched, but not confiscated, re-taped with the "Inspected by US Customs" tape?
If not, I wonder if they were inspected by the foreign country's customs???
All outgoing and incoming shipments are subject to inspection by US Customs, so it wouldn't be unheard of for other countries to have the same policy--and it could explain why you received the meds in the affected packages, but no seizure letter.
Just a thought.

I've had the same thing happen as well. It has been about a year ago though. I had ordered xanax and the envelope had been opened and taped back with US customs tape. But they sent the package anyway. When I recieved the first package I was scared to death. I took most of it to a friends house to hid it. It was only 50 pills but just the thought of them knowing and shipped anyhow. I really thought they had set me up, waiting on me to get it out of the mail box and then bust down my door. But nothing ever happened. Maybe there is someone in customs that really cares and firgures its only a few benzo's whoever ordered really needs these.

yeah I had that happen a couple of times and with a fair few meds in there. I figure I struck a customs guy who had a bit of sympathy for us with CP. Out of 20 parcels I would say I had 6 opened, 4 resealed with official customs tape saying they had been inspected and sent on, while the other two got confiscated.
I just figured I was lucky!
haven't had any problems since touch wood
cheers

No worries....happened to me at least three times. Makes your heart pound no doubt, but I don't think it's anything to be worried about.

I think it depends on the individual opening it. I've had a package sent to the FDA before, they kept it overnight, opened it, closed it and sent it to me. Customs opened first and saw it was Nurofen Plus and just sent it to make sure it was ok. It made me wonder if Customs or the FDA knew what the "Plus" was at all.
