Hi,
I am looking for a new source for my needs...
I had a look at their website - and I didn't find informations about consultation fee or shipping costs.
Can anybody tell me, please

The last time I ordered, there was a ten dollar "consultation" fee, and a twenty dollar "handling" fee, and I think there is postage on top of that. The prices used to be quite moderate, but with the current global mess, the USD is worth far less against the SAR, so it's a lot more pricey than it used to be to order from them.

Dont forget they also raised their prices, just prior to the drop in the USD.

On my most recent order the total for shipping and consult was R330 which is currently about $50. They are very good but it's gonna be hard to continue to do business with them if the exchange rate doesn't improve.

I think that's about the time I quit dealing with them. I very nearly placed an order a few days ago, but opted out.

Saddy, they charge a consult fee which works out to be about 40 USD for *each med ordered.  If you order two different meds, the consult fees will total about $80 depending on the rand vs dollar at the time of your order. The shipping isn't so expensive as the consult fees IMO.

I'm confused here. I don't think what you are saying is correct. I was charged a consult fee of 100ZAR or 15$ for an order of three item. In addition I paid for a handling fee and shipping. Were did you get the 40$ for each item ordered

Just to check, I started placing an order with AM but didn't complete it. For two meds totalling R1040.00 or US$160.99, I would have been charged R100.00 or US$15.48 for the consultation fee & R230.00 or US$35.60 for international shipping.

This is exactly why I stopped using Access Meds and looked at other options. They are too much for the risk of a customs loss. Other than price, they are one of the best iops out there as far as reliability goes in my opinion.
