Phentermine VS Meridia

Hello Friends,
For 2 months I took Phentermine (Adipex) and they were tremendously helpful. I had no appetitie at all. On top of that, I had a lot of extra energy!!!
So, after the 2 months, I changed to Meridia. Apparently, these are two very similar meds, Meridia is supposed to be a newer version of Phentermine.
Well, Meridia, does not take my hunger away nearly as much as Phentermine did??? Nor does it make me have any more energy?
Any suggestions?
Anyone know about the two meds and why this happened?
Love some advice!

Phentermine is a CNS stimulant, while Meridia is a low-level narcotic. I don't know much more about them since I am always trying to put weight ON. Hope I helped at least a little bit.

Thankyou VERY much!
That certainly helped me. Now, I am quite furious, I paid over a hundred dollars for these!
Either way, they still do help, a little bit, compared to the other (Phentermine)
