I've never had any problems with them whatsoever- been getting my meds from them for over a year now. You have to fax med records, and a portamed exam- I get Watson 10/325- 90 with one refill. When requesting a new Consult, they email you with the day and time the Dr calls YOU- always within 1/2 hr of the given time- (you have to respond to the consult email within 24 hrs of the consult time with your name and phone #) Meds rec'd next day- although my last refill took 2 days (I was told the Fedex plane had trouble and all packages were delayed for 24 hrs) My treating Dr. is Dr. Sheila Soman, not the Dr that DB has listed under this site. All in all, I think they are great!
I can report the same as julz on yfd. 1 1/2 years, never a problem, never a worry. everyone friendly to deal with. They are a real up and up professional operation.
IMHO, one way to tell the ops that will be around vs. the fly by nights. YFD and the other good ops have no "price lists" on their sites. It is up to the doctor, who actually discusses your problem with you in depth, to decide what is appropriate. And you won't be stunned by the prices either. Even though they may be a little more expensive than some ops with frequent "bargains" because of the only one refill policy.
Try this analogy: Let's say there are 2 bars on my block. One charges 50 cents a beer, the other $1.00 a beer. The 50 cent beer seems like a better bargain. But in the 50 cent place, there are always large crowds, fights breaking out around the pool table, beer bottles being broken by rowdies and police cars are frequently parked outside. The $1.00 a beer place is not as busy, just a few quiet tables, never any excitemen, no bouncer and the bartender knows your name. I'll always go for the buck a beer place.
I realize some folks are limited by finances, but in the long run, I feel the more frequent consults at YFD are in your best interests as a patient.
