Thank you very much for running this board. I have already been helped tremendously with meds by one individual that I sent a private message to pointing me in the right direction. I contacted the firm, spoke with the doc after faxing my records, and he understood my problem and documentation and helped me. This has been, for now, a God send. I will not be forced to beg for meds from a doctor [not even found yet] at my new residence. The only neurologist I saw here asked if I tried biofeedback. I told him I had....for migrianes 10 years ago, but not for the feeling of an ice pick in my ear. I'm sure a lot of people are very frustrated as I am. Put these docs in our shoes just for an hour when pain strikes and they'll write themselves a script.

I will second that motion... This board "is" a God send and almost all of the folks here are always more than willing to help you out when you need it the most. Agreed -- For all of those who enjoy this board and have not already done so, I would recommend becoming a VIP member to help support it. I became a VIP several months ago when I realized how much the free board was helping me. Rarely do I make use of the benefits of the VIP board, but I still feel great about my decision to join so that I could help support the cause.

Great point, JB! I became a VIP member soon after I discovered the FreeBoard and the very reasonable membership fee has more than paid for itself in discounts. Supporting DB's efforts is hugely important in these ever-changing times. Personally, I don't know where I'd be without this board. Wait, yes I do: In pain and ripped off! Join today!
