If my e-mail at work is monitored (both in and out) and they can also track what websites I've been on and how long I viewed that site, does that mean that they can see all my posts here on DB and my PM's as well? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, can't answer the technical stuff. If you are concerned about them reading your posts and PMs, aren't you also worried about them knowing that you spend time on a site called Drugbuyers? Just wondering. Maybe Sonic or one of the other computer brains will check-in on this one for you. Wish you well.

I answered this post for you in another thread but to make a long story short they could if they really wanted to but no they aren't. it would take special software and a lot of reading time that IT people just don't have. They will monitor your email, websites, production, etc but they can't see what you are typing in a message unless they are recording everything on your computer. Hope this helps...
Train, thanks again for the info. Whatsnew, that's a good point and it is precisely why I asked for these answers. To answer your questions: No, I don't care that they see I'm always on a website called DrugBuyers, however, I'm sure they wouldn't be very pleased to see that I spend 4-6 hrs. a day on any website, regardless of what the name of it is. I'm somewhat of a sub-contractor, so to speak, therefore, if I waste time at work, it only hurts me and not so much the company. But then again, I don't feel that browsing DB all day long is really a waste of time. JMO. Good point though. I guess if they really minded, they would have already canned me, besides, I've mastered the art of multi-tasking, therefore I do manage to somehow get my work done.
