Anyone else use the Alprazolam 2 mg Bars from USpharacyrx.com. If so just wondering how you found them...good, bad, ok? How is there diazepam. I've found that pretty weak. Then again I can take 30 mg of Klonopin without blinking an eye and still be wide awake. So who knows.

30 mg of Klonopin????!!!! I think you would be dead. Are you sure you didn't mean 3 mg? I think the most you can get is 2mg, 3X a day. Plus, Klonopin is stronger than Xanax. It's the strongest benzo.

That is subjective, strongest in what sense? It has a longer half life, meaning that its metabolites are active in the body longer than some, but saying that it is the strongest Benzo is rather subjective since there are Benzos such as Midazolam or Versed, which are used for conscious sedation..

I am no expert but I personally think xanax is much stronger than Klonipin. I can take 2 mg of klonipin and it relieves my anxiety and I can sleep better, or I can stay up and function slowly but I can. If I take a 2mg xanax bar in about 20 min. I am dead to the world and I take klonipin rarely and xanax rarely as well but more often than the klonipin. Wow I think 30 mg of klonipin taken without blinking an eye is a typo lol. unimaginable.

Yes, I have had the 2mg bars from uspharmacy rx and I found them quite fresh and they worked well. Of course, I split them in half when I use them since the entire 2mg would knock me out.
The meds were great, the service on the other hand is another thread entirely.....

Those are the facts. I seem to be immune. I even gone out and gotten drunk after a 25 mg dose...something I don't recommend.

Sounds like you got some bad Klonopin...... If your tolerance REALLY is that high (and the medications are of good quality) - then, not to be a downer, but you have some BAD w/d's coming your way if you ever decide to stop taking it. That's a ridiculous amount of Clonazepam. I just got finished tapering from only 4mg's per day to 2mg's per day, and it was around 3 weeks of a reality I would not wish on anyone. Worse than any hydro withdrawal I have ever encountered. If it is not a case of bad medications, and you are really tolerant to 30mg Klonopin - then you really need to be careful, it would take years to taper down from that kind of dose, and the w/d's from Klonopin ARE life-threatening (unlike opiate w/d's) - I had near-seizures, (thought I was going to have a full-fledged at one point), could not sit still or concentrate for weeks, profuse sweating, ears ringing, mild hallucinations, and worse....... For 3 weeks! And this was just attempting to taper down from 4mg's (2mg morning/2 night) to 2mg's (1mg morning/same at night) - And these reactions were definitely caused by my body reacting to the cut in Klonopin doseage, as it is the only medication I take regularly besides pain meds. Just be careful. In my opinion that is not something to brag about but something very unfortunate for you, and downright scary actually. The w/d's from Klono are horrific to say the least. Worse than xanax. Not to mention - how could you possible afford to take a medicine that you were tolerant to 15x the recommended daily doseage?? It would be a catch-22. Too scary to quit taking, and too expensive to keep taking?

90 2mg tevas cost $25 from drugstore.com. I have a doctor's script for these. I'm just stating facts. The klonopin was in fact new and manufactured by Teva. I just happen to have a particular high tolerance to benzos in general. It's nothing that I'm proud of and I will be entering into a tapering program for the klonopin very soon. I dunno why things the way they are and I'm not really into war stories. Just stating the facts jack.

Contrary to popular belief it's very difficult to overdose on klonopin. klonopin taken alone does not slow down your CNS. Just do a searh on google about it and you'll see what I'm saying. Now if you were to throw another depressant such as a narcotic in there along with the K, there would be problems, but K alone, in and off itself is difficult to OD on.
People who take the stuff for seizures regularly take very large doses of klonopin, usually in the 10 to 20 mg range so it's not all that uncommon.

It's good that you are gonna try to taper.... Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a pain in the neck or a pessimist - i think my repsonse was kind of biased since I just got finish w/ Klonopon tapering (on my own unfortunately, and I will admit that I tried to taper way too fast - it was a matter of supply that caused me to taper as quick as I did, or there is no way I would have done it as quick as I did - I basically dropped my daily doseage in half over just a few days, and then spent 3 weeks in MUCH worse w/d symptoms than opiate w/d has ever given me) - Now my body seems to have sort of 'levelled out' and seems to be doing OK with the new doseage of Klonopin.... But for a few weeks - it was bad. I was afraid to leave the house (although I had to force myself too - college and work) - Anyway, I seriously felt psychotic for a few weeks. Klonopin is strange - because it is such a 'background drug' (my own term) - I mean, it doesn't *seem* to be 'doing much' (mostly because there is not a very distinct 'feeling' to Klonopin at high doses, unlike other benzo's like Val or Xan) - So, it's almost like you don't realize just how anxiety-free your body has been for so long. Until you stop. And then the panic/anxiety comes rushing back in at light-speed it seems. My anxiety levels for those few weeks were higher than they had ever been, before taking Klonopin. It was literally like one, big 3 week panic attack. Instead of having panic attacks sporadically, it's like I was having one the whole time, with only a few hours of relief (sanity) here and there in between. Again, I didn't mean to be rude, just be careful with that kind of K tolerance.

I am an RN and one of my nurses' med manuals lists lorazepam (i.e. Ativan) as the "strongest" benzo. I think the question of what you mean by "strongest" is an important question.

1)klonipin
2)valium
3)xanax
4)ativan

This is based on the knock you dead on your a$$ effect of a standard dose of 1 mg Xanax and the equivalent of the others.

I would agree (Ativan) and it's usually the first line of defense of ER's for certain street drug OD cases they get, IV of course, to slow the heart rate down.

Take it from me...one who has a high tolerance to just about everything...30mg of any benzo is way off! It simply has to be weak stuff or someone is really taking this person for a ride.
I had to be on xanax for some side effects I suffered while I was taking Peg-Intron and Rebetol for my Hepatitis C. I had the worst anxiety imaginable. Unbeknownst to me, I became addicted! Those withdrawals were horrible! I swear, when I went to the ER, I thought everyone in there would think I was either having heroin withdrawals, siezures, or had Tourette's syndrome. (I kept swearing and saying things out loud.) It wasn't even a funny situation because you can, in fact, die from benzo withdrawals as opposed to an opiate withdrawal. Supposedly, opiate withdrawals only make you FEEL like you're dying.
Yes, it would take years to ween off of that crazy amount. My doc had me weening by only a .25mg per week. He would tell me, "If that's not okay with you this week, we can keep you at Xmg." No way! I wanted to get off of that stuff.
I think the occasional tranquilizer/sedative for nerves and what not are okay, but nothing I would use on a regular basis. I understand there are some people with panic and anxiety disorders, but for them, I think they should be under the suppervision of a doctor. Only my opinion, folks! Not trying to knock anyone who is self-treating. A lot of people DO know what they're doing. And then there are those who just don't have a clue!

30mgs is a lot of clonazapem but I can believe it. I have a very high tolerance to benzos myself as I have been taking them for over 5 years now. I can see myself taking 30mg throughout an entire day (I've never done it) but I can bet that it can be done. I don't recommend this amount benzo to ANYONE though. As a matter of fact, I don't recommend that many pills of any kind of pill but hey sometimes people go overboard and 30mg of Klonopin isnt going to kill you. This is all dependent on who you are though and how far apart you take them. Now for those of you that take 1 xanax bar and fall out, well just forget this was ever mentioned because you WILL OD! Be smart and be careful! I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to taking more pills than I should but please be careful because overdosing IS real! Hope this helps... Train

Klonopin used to something for my anxiety, and used to put me to sleep. It now has no effect what so ever, except to make me clumsey and grumpy for about 24 hours, God what a nasty half life that drug has.

The latest xanax is the xanax xr (extended release). I have been taking them recently and they work pretty well. They defintely get the job done. They come in 1,2, and 3 mg.
Also edit to above post... I was just reading what I wrote about the 30 klonopin. No one should ever try to take that many pills. It is extremely dangerous!! I don't care what kind of tolerance you may have. Just be safe everyone!!

I took klonopin for 2 years, but decided to try the 2mg xanax bars from an OP. I tolerated klonopin well, but with my first xanax bar, I ran into a curb and cut (and flattened) my two right tires.
30 mg of klonopin? Sure! I've taken as much xanax(@120 lbs) without dying, although it left me generally anesthetized with my face in a cat food dish for 24 hours. Wouldn't recommend it.
