I have been reading past-posts on codeine and they have been bad, really bad. Nightmares, nausea, rages...etc. What is your take on codeine, T4's in general (60mg.)
How do they relate to Lortabs (10mg's) in strength.
Any general info is appreciated. I am a "veteran" and have never had T4's and just placed an order w/ Buymeds. -By the way-cuz I know I'll get 100 PM's, they (b-meds) are the same company we knew 3 months ago .
Thanks!

Just my personal experience, but T4's were next to worthess for me. Same goes for codisan and the other codeine-based products out there. It's possible that I have some kind of immunity to codeine, but I got aproximately the same relief from a couple of T4s as I did from taking the same amount of tylenol minus the codeine. In comparison to Loritab 10s, i'd say the T4s are going to be very weak indeed. 2 or 3 Loritabs work wonders for my back pain but i'd have to take more T4s than safety dictates to get the same relief. Codeine and Hydrocodone are quite a bit apart in comparison of analgesic effect, unfortunately.

Created havoc in my stomach even w/food. No matter how or with what made my stomach rancid . . . never happens with HC.

I think its worth pointing out that while its important to get others opinions on pain meds, you will never know until you try them. What makes one person sick will do nothing to another. T4s don't cause any stomach problems for me and do a good job on my pain. Hydro is fine also but with me it keeps me awake, and also I feel a bit on edge when it wears off. I don't have that problem with codeine products.

you're dead right. I get no effect (except for nausea) from hydro yet T4s kill my pain right away and I feel great again. It really is trial and error

Just did this calculation in another thread, so will repeat it here.
60mgs of codiene (or 1 Tylenol 4) is equivalent to 3mgs of hydrocodone. The basic formula is 20mgs of codeine to 1mg of hydro.

I have been using hydro for some while now, and T'4's are practically useless to me. They just have no effect, other than possibly potentiating the hydro a bit.
